Well I have no rescue plan apart from to sell OH but I'm not sure who take on such a financially incapable man!!
He has finally submitted the expenses but acted as if it was something he did under duress. Now where's the magic wand to magic up some money!
More sales on ebay and another job lot of stuff to put on arrived last night. A few things need altering/mending but I have got a really good lot which I should make a few hundred on which should help until expenses are paid. Now the fantastic job of getting them photographed, listed. bah.....................
Got a long run planned for today as a practice for a race in a few weeks - need to get up to about 4 hours on my feet running :eek: Bit scared!!
Mortgage statement arrived yesterday, only paid £7k off the mortgage last year despite payments of £1600 a month - how annoying but I suppose it's moving in the right direction and I'm now fairly confident we are no longer in negative equity either :j:j
Mystery shop yesterday as well - got paid £10 and also to spend £10 which was reimbursed. Ended up buying a dress for £20 which was reduced from £75 which I'm going to put on ebay
Right enough gabbing to myself, off to get dressed, iron, post ebay parcels, run for 4 hours, get ready, go out and sleep. Day sorted!1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
2nd debt - MBNA - £6,618.52
First in many many to go - baby steps and all that!
First lump sum to go - fingers crossed!

You have my sincere admiration, you nutter, and I hope that it goes well.
Many congratulations on the Ebaying as well - you are steaming ahead.
With regard to OH, he does seem to be coming the financial high and mighty with you quite a bit. Has he had a really good look at the finances this time, or just poo-pooed it away? If so, might I recommend you getting him to sit down and go through the finances properly with you in a non-confrontational manner so you can get it through to him once and for all how things work? It might make your life easier in the long-run.Please call me 'Pickle'

Actually, faced with a choice between photographing/listing on ebay, and going for a 4 hour run, I am not sure which way I would go :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Thank you! The running went well, worn out now and eaten a lot of naughty things but I deserve them
Have done a list for OH for him to keep and look at, bless him, he is a bit useless with organising finances but other than that he is a lovely man and a brilliant dadI just think he has never had to deal with money and so has no idea how much a house costs etc
