Now managed to sit down, has just occurred to me that I haven't spent any money at all this week :j:j I did it without even trying as well - amazing!
Have been really good with chocolate until I got home but what the hell, who cares!
Going to relax in front of the tv and early night for me.
After a day like that, I would, too! :eek:Please call me 'Pickle'

I ended up having a lovely night thank you
Had an equally stressful homecoming tonight. DD announced she was selling cakes for Haiti tomorrow, cakes that hadn't yet been made  Had to buy all the ingredients and spent ages making them whilst she sneaked off to bed  *this is now my rolling eyes icon!!
Ruined the no spending but apart from that I haven't spent a penny on myself all week. OH has spent a fair bit and we have had to pay money out on the kids which I need to write down, but I have excelled myself.
Sold four things on ebay from the shop with best offers so really pleased about that and have some new stuff due to arrive.
Work seems to be better, no news on the payrise yet but have had a difficult few weeks sorting out a few issues so will leave it another month before chasing up. Have signed up for a course to progress my career and also been very forthcoming in trying new things which they seem to be pleased with so fingers crossed.

Moan alert - checked online banking, OH has spent about £60 (the whole of our weekly allowance) this week - on what I know not. Has also just told me that he has "forgot" to put in his expenses for over £500 which I thought he had put in and took this into account when doing budget, paying bills etc  What is the f***ing point of doing a budget, trying to keep to it when he just does what he wants?
After a row yesterday he declared he wanted to see all the finances, what was going on and sort this out - a threat always made in arguments as if it is all my fault  And now we are waiting for £500 which no doubt he will expect me to miraculously miracle up from somewhere!
Moan over - revert to normal behaviour!1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

How annoying! Especially after your ultra positive previous post.
My DH gets all "pro-active" and assertive wanting to look at (inspect) the joint account anytime things are discussed in relation to him coughing up. Funny that  (it's also my new eye-roller)
Great news on the Ebay sales though - that is very positive news :T Glad things are easier at work too.
Hope today is a better day x0 -

Am really peeved and this he is all arsey when I ask why he didn't put them in as they relate to expenses over a month old which have already been put and charged interest on the credit card. Find it so hard to speak to him about money because of the attitude he takes with me.
Think I may have to write something down showing ins and outs for the month plus debts so he can see that I cannot simply magic up money!
He says he's really pleased with me for putting money in tins etc but just doesn't help meMen!

Write something down to show him, and perhaps if he keeps being so bum-like you can ask him (very nicely!) to take over the running of the finances as he would evidently be able to do such a better job...then watch him sweat doing it! *Insert evil smiley*Please call me 'Pickle'
