suesuesue, in the letters i have sent to shop direct and the phonecalls, i have clearly stated i want to pay for my items in feb 2010 as agreed.
how does that make me a scammer?
if they insist on monthly payments at a high interest rate, given the choice of not paying at all or paying whatever they demand, no, i will not pay at all. i have clearly stated to them though i wish to pay the cash price in feb 2010 as my contract with them specified.
i dont feel the need to justify this to you or any other self appointed kings of pratness.
if in the final outcome i end up not paying them a penny, as morally now to be honest i wouldnt mind happening, i will be making a donation to a financial charity in the region of the amounts i would have paid. if and when this happens, i will gladly scan onto here a receipt for the donation.
i do not wish to gain in life, i have evryting i need, and i do not need to scam anyone, but i refuse to be scammed myself either. i am merely standing up for myself and other peoplelike me, i hate scammers too, i am most certainly not one. be careful with the accusations you make, they may come back to haunt you some day0 -
judging by the pm's i have received, i am not the only person who thinks suesuesue's attitude stinks. thanks to those who have sent their messages and i hope suesuesue comes off her high horse soon too0

how many times?????
ar eyou illiterate or something????
i am able to pay what i owe, and i want to pay what i owe, i do not want to be taken advantage of though!!!
its worse than talking to a brick wall talking to you, here endeth the debate between you and me.
any genuine helpful comments from others are warmly received and appreciated0 -
ok, please please can i send you a grand on the basis that you will pay me back a grand in january. then in november i will change my mind and demand 12 monthly payments of £125. using your theory, you will gladly repay me in full and on time0
-
none, i have been over the paperwork with a fine tooth comb, as have trading standards. tshop direct have told trading standards they will no longer talk to them, and their response is final regardless of what paperwork i have. i will just let it go to court, i'd prefer to go into financial ruin than be bullied by anyone, money is not the issue here, morally this is just too wrong for me to do nothing0

grand? hell yeh- hmm may not get money back however
end of the day - you owe them money. BNPL - or what ever. It does sound like you were declined at checkout so to speak. As a fellow declinee - you should have got a letter to tell you that you had been declined.
However that does not make much sense - because in the letter it states that if you want to continue with the transaction on tick - call xxxxxxxxxxxxxx and ask them to process the order.
Best of luck - but your posts do paint you in a different light to what you intended. IF you were trying to avoid the credit agreement (big IF - i don't know you) that is pretty !!!!ed up - and signifies what one of the biggest problem has been of late with toxic debt.
I would consider taking it to a lawyer with any documentation they have sent you.I feel like the day he died0 -
in theory, one they get sick of chasing me, they will send the debt to a debt collection agency. the dca will write to me and say call within x days etc. i can call/write to the dca, and dispute the debt. the dca will then go to shop direct and say please can we have copy of credit agreement for customer x. shop direct will say uh-oh, not got one, therefore debt unenforcable. is this correct? and no, for the however many time, i am not a scammer or trying to avoid paying0

yes, following thier harrasment and ignorance my intention is to be awakward, absolutely. if they turn around and say you are correct, itis buy now pay later, i will very gladly buy now, and guess what, pay later! if they renege on their agreement, that is thier problem. if they had just accepted their mistake inthe first place this wouldnt be an issue0

i am amazed. absolutely amazed.
and for christs sake, stop questioning my integrity or my ability to read, i am clearly far more intelligent than you have shown yourself to be so far with your derogatory comments, and i am 100% honest. and believe me, my ability to pay is no issue0 -
of course, paying huge amounts of interests just because a company demands it is a sign of huge intelligence0
