    ad9898, why? A good poster. Goodness me, another decent poster banned whilst lots of offensive people are allowed to take the board down!

    I'm not really sure what the point in banning ad actually was. Maybe if the mods explained, it would certainly help stop these sorts of threads (this isn't a pop at you mewbie, right behind you) and various other threads. I tried my own, but it was deleted literally within a minute.

    Banning posters who, IMO, really didn't cause any issues or trouble on a forum without any type of reason, but then banning them again when they come back and offend absolutely no one, just infruriates other posters and causes more trouble on the boards in other threads.

    We are all a bit confused. But he was a sad loss to a "community" that's fighting for it's own survival. The mods, IMO are playing a big part in ruining that board.

    I respected and liked Ad's posts and I don't think he was one of the bad guys, in fact, he was one of the good guys who was always willing to look at the other side of the coin, consider different points and weigh up the information, even if it meant that it showed he had made a boo boo in his view.

    I agree with the others that it may just have been an attempt at humour gone slightly awry...I do it all the time as my humour is rather warped and others don't always get it!
    We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
    Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    It's strange. Absolutely no one gets me, not even myself, and I aint been banned.

    Though that could be my death call I guess, specially as I said boo to the mods above. Hmmm.

    Ad posted a picture of nude genitalia? On many sites that would be acceptable, but on this site one would suspect it's a bit of a no-no.

    I think the mods do a good job, and I think Ad is a good poster that probably deserves a second chance if he wasn't warned or yellow carded.

    I do wish they'd hurry up with the yellow/red card system though as the constant barrage of obscenity/insults is annoying.

    I very highly doubt it was the actual house price rises that made him lose his compsure, if he lost his composure at all (I didnt see it).

    People will just make new accounts if banned, And if IP banned will get round it with a proxy, No full proof way of keeping people out.
