Luci....I gave up trying to get any support off my mother a long time ago. I guess it really is a generational thing....she never really got the parenting thing. Although its hard to see your children suffering for any reason.

I have to be totally honest though and say that going back to work did help me with my post natal depression.

@ redsquirrel80 - Yeah, the more extreme ones tend to have other meaning so if a guy you're not that into says, "Oh, that means I get...", you can say, "No, that one's just hand holding."

Mystery shop over and done with, nearly 3 mile walk up and down hills, I want to sleep for a week. I envy you runners, I really do.

I'm not saying it won't help but her dismissive attitude really got my back up and having had a lovely morning at group and feeling positive as I haven't had a dip for over a week I now feel utterly p'd off and a bit defeated. It would be nice to think O could turn to my Mum for support. And she complains we never tell her anything. Well guess why...
