£58 a month isn't bad Flower, is there a tie in? NIM and I can't wait for our gym membership to finish, worst idea we ever had!

No contracts which is good. Only have to give a months notice if we want to cancel. Originally was only going to be OH joining as we though it would be to expensive for us both. It was £40 each of both of us for £58.
OH has been wanting to go for a while. Hes quite a big build and used to play alot of rugby but just over a year ago had a knee injury and hasnt played since so hes muscle is starting to turn to flab :rotfl:(i didnt say that!).

Going to do some more listing tonight to make up for the extra outgoing.

Worryingly I have no idea what part of that could be found amusing....??? I'm gonna go nap in the loos.

I know I shouldn't laugh - it was the list of grievances that your neighbours at number 2 might have with you, and then realising it wasn't them anyway!

hope you feel better soon and get to go out tonight :)

£58 sounds okay for a joint membership, especially if you're going to make it up every month. My gym still haven't started taking my direct debit payments so I'm still having a dilemma about it - I want to do the right thing and own up but then I'm worried that they'll demand 6 months' payment on the spot which is about £240 that I don't have! I've been putting aside £39 a month ever since I realised what was happening a couple of months ago, but I feel like I'll be punished for coming clean - maybe I should tell them and try to negotiate that I pay half now and spread the rest of the payments out? What does anyone else think?

Honestly, I'd not tell them. I know thats morally wrong, but if they can't be bothered to do their admin right, I wouldn't chase them to give them the money. Legally they can't demand it all at once anyway.

I agree i certainly wouldnt chase it. But i would still keep putting a bit of money away just in case.

My mums old work kept paying her for 10 months after she left. Legally she only had to pay them back at £1 per week as it was their mistake, which would mean they didn't get their money back before she died (unless she lived to be 590... which is probably unlikely), since it was nearly 30k she owed them. If they want the money they will ask for it, if they're so incompetant not to know who is paying or not I'd be suprised if they don't fold.

Similar thing happened to my mum. She was paid twice one month and maybe wrongly on her part she used the money to pay off some of her debts hoping they wouldnt notice. Of course they did notice. That was about 8 years ago and she still pays them 5pound a month in repayments.

Just found 30Euros while sorting some of the boxes of stuff to ebay! So need to get tha changed at some point.
