Yea things are looking good really. I have always said i dont want to go back to renting a one bedroom flat. And here we can realistically rent a two bedroom house at the same price we were paying for our one bed flat - so thats good!
Have also noticed that there are alot of houses on the rental market and some that have been on for a while have gone down in price, so all looking very positive.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Hi,
Am off work for the afternoon, had a lot to catch up on here!
I always though OH was going to end up being the house husband but now he is earning more than me and we could actually survive on his wage. Makes things a bit less worrying.
Just did a bit of a naughty stop at Westfield on the way home and bought a new dress which I am going to wear out tomorrow. Is a really nice Lipsy one that was reduced, I do love it.0 -
You're all really bad, I promised myself I wouldn't look at rightmove anymore until me and OH are ready to move out. Found myself trawling around it most of this afternoon! Eek! Thought I'd show you the type of house I'll be moving into though, the ones we can get for 200pcm tadaa the houses aren't that bad, just made really cheap by the area!
Wendz - That's great that about your OHs wages, always nice to have that in the back of your mind! The boy got really excited when he finished his managers training knowing when he gets posted we'll be able to easily live on just his wages. And I thought these were modern times!0 -
Cinny, that's great for £200 pcm - it would be like playing house
I like the purple cloakroom too! Is the area really bad?
Wendz, I'm sure you deserve a bit of a treat, are you feeling better now? I still haven't been tempted by Westfield, I've heard mixed things about it - is it worth a visit? Or should I wait until I'm DF?! :rotfl:LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Ohh Cinny that is a nice house. Nearly fainted at the price, if only we could get a house for that much in London!
I am feeling much better thanks. Still a little stuffed up but definitely on the mend.
Westfield is really good but I would wait till you are debt free , is temptation central!0 -
Cinny I'm so jealous! That sort of house down here would be at least £130k
And that's exactly the type of thing I want. I'm trying not to look on rightmove either cuz I just get all excited and impatient!

I like the purple cloakroom too!
That was the thing that really stood out for me too! Why is that?!
Cinny that house is lovely and for that price, I though I was supposed to live in the cheapest place in the UK! Hmm, 20 mins to hometime, might have a cheeky browse!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Oh my god Cinny i cant believe how cheap that house is!! It looks really nice aswell!! That type of thing would probably be about 130k where i am - which considering some prices in some places i dont consider to be a fortune, but i would rather get it for 70k!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0

Had a book sell on amazon and it prompted me into listing some things on ebay. So spent the last two hours ebaying, hopefully will be a bit more money to put towards the debts!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0
