DoneDecided my next target is to get the overall debt under 3000pounds, but need to work out when we could realistically do that by.

We usually have a medium pizza each, and some garlic bread and some dip.... not healthy at all! Still, I've been under on my cals all week, if I get roped into decorating or gardening tomorrow then we can go for a pizza on sunday as gardening is great exercise.

All this pizza talk is making me hungry!
I know!! Wasn't that hungry until I started reading about Pizza Hut, now I'm all grumbles!
Dinah - Gardening is seriously good! When I was at my Grandparents gardening I still managed to tone up despite them over feeding me on tinned meat sandwiches, crisps and bakewell tarts. I think if you're going to PH you mareswell have what you really want - waste of money otherwise!
Just remembered I forgot to bring dinner in today! Not used to full days on Friday.. uh-oh!0 -
Oh dear, is there somewhere you can get something?
So been filling in my Food Focus - I have been at the break even point two days this week, meaning only 5 days loss, which is probably 4 since mum is spoiling me and my brother tonight before he goes to uni. I think I might have scared myself out of pizza hut!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I've given up on boots diets now, just watching what I eat and exercising a bit more seems to be doing okay on it's own. (she says

There are plenty of sandwich shops and bakerys in the village, just a matter of getting there! I'm really craving a old school grated cheese sandwich, yum!0 -

When you say break even, do you mean cals burnt, ie for me 1800, or target net cals, eg 1100? As long as you don't go over the 1800 figure I think you still lose don't you , just not as fast?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Nope, 1800 is the break even point, where you burn as much as you take in. So no gain, no loss. Anything under the top line on the graph is when you are loosing, anything above is when you are taking on more calories than you are burning therefore you gain weight. So 1800 is the aim if you are happy with your weight and just want to maintain it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I thought 2000 was to maintain your weight? Oh I don't know, my food logic has gone right out the window. The other day I was explaining how cake covers like, three main food groups.0

I had a fiddle with HSBCs mortgage calculator last night. If NIM and I saved a deposit of £18k, they would loan us a further £152k. Even if we save £30k, they will still only loan us £152k. However the rate at that ratio on a 5 year fix is 6.29%, making monthly payments £1026 per month. Thats a bit steep for us realistically, On a combined income of just under £44k before tax, we want to still have a life. So we are aiming for a mortgage of about £800-£850 per month unless NIM gets a promotion. So, we either need to save more of a deposit, or hope in the next year to 18 months (I'm quickly coming around to the idea of a spring 2011 wedding instead, in order to afford everything!) or marginally more realistically NIM gets a promotion to around 19k..... I can dream right?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Used to be, but its widely accepted now if you have a desk job maintaining your weight is about 1800, 2000 is if you have a more active job where you are on your feet like a shop assistant or teacher or somthing.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
