Sorry for the treble post, but anyone who is super observant might have noticed my sig is shorter. I have given up on the 100 days challenge. I bought 2 reduced soft cotton t-shirts yesterday (really long ones, I hate that most t-shirts leave a line of flesh showing) which were £6 for the two, as well as buying the replacement ballet shoes. Add that to the book splurge, I accept I failed that one big time. I've never done the 100 days challenge before as I've always had the mentality that I gave up a lot to get debt free, and so long as we stay within budget I don't want to restrict myself now, and I kind of couldn't let go of that way of thinking.

  • Flower I'm confused - now officially under or not officially under?

Dinah yikes to the size 6 skirt, talk about unattainable! :( I think I'd have to be skeletal to even be a size 10! Have plateau-ed a bit the last few weeks, hoping for a loss this week, still 5lbs to lose! You could have a lasagne at PH, I think they're only about '600' cals?

Eek Birdie, just read your to do list for tomorrow! Isn't OH gonna help, he could do the chilli and rice while you curl your hair at least? Thanks for the reminder about the Oreo cakes, really meaning to do them!!

Oooh thanks for reminding me - knew I was missing something on yesterdays but I assumed it was a chocolate bar or something!

A medium pan pizza is 1336 calories, excluding any dip/salad/starter etc. As 'low impact aerobics' burns 258 cals an hour that would mean a little over 5 1/4 hours continuously doing the dirty..... I think that's illegal in one day?!

I think that is a question that only NIM can answer.

Lets hope he pops along shortly!

Phobia of mince. Know thats wierd. I just can't handle the texture. I could only eat half the pixxa and take the other half home for another time/person?!

Yey so chuffed for you - its a real weight off your mind when its gone I promise - and no more guilt when you buy a treat!

Mum has tried to ban NIM and I from Ebay for 2 weeks until after the party, as there is a fair bit of gardening and decorating to do. Not going to happen, after the party NIMs degree starts so we want to get it out of the way before then.

I think that's the right mentality to have, you really did give up a hell of a lot to get rid of your debt so I don't think £6 for two tops (great bargain btw!) is going to hurt anyone.

Well done on the dooyoo review, I even managed one yesterday! Got another one in mind for today, going to try and get all my work done before dinner time then I can send the afternoon dooyooing. Has STP got any better for star ratings?

I think me and OH have made up, decided to drop by Asda on the way home to get some cheap treats with whatever change we have so while he's watching the magic man I can plug myself into bbc iPlayer and much away on some jelly beans!

I already feel much better knowing that its not a half hearted attempt this time. And OH seems to be fully on board now which is really good!
I dont think we have ever paid our minimum payment within a week of getting the bill thats for sure, let alone anything on top of that! I just wish we could get a balance transfer as we are still paying about 45pounds a month on interest which is pretty annoying.
Oh well just have to keep chipping away at it.

OHs mum and dad have also said they can really see a change in the way both of us view money and what we spend.

  • Ah good news Flower! Get your sig updated! :D

OH just text to say he'll be home tonight (he's away at uni, wasn't due til tomorrow teatime) so I'm all giddy and excited now :) Bad MSE wise as was planning on doing a bit of dooyoo, but good dietwise I guess ;)

Dinah, PH have those Tuscani pizzas now, I had a pesto/mushroom one but to be honest it was a bit greasy. We always get a large cheesy bites of which I have about three slices and leave all the cheesy bites for OH!

5p a track. Not loads by any means, but it all counts and its all a bit of variation in how we get the pennies in.

We usually have a medium pizza each, and some garlic bread and some dip.... not healthy at all! Still, I've been under on my cals all week, if I get roped into decorating or gardening tomorrow then we can go for a pizza on sunday as gardening is great exercise.
