Your venue sounds like a good deal Dinah. It will be exciting when the deposit is all down.
The pans sound like a good bargain, is definitely worth getting things as they are on offer rather than saving it all up.0 -
Wow - weddings are expensive in the UK!
Our meal was about £35 pp in Barcelona - with a variety of tapas for starters, seabass, steak or paella for the main course and then creme catalana for dessert. This included unlimited cava and wine for the guests. There was also an amazing view over Barcelona marina, which made it priceless (that and the 32C heat!!!)Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Morning all! Wrote a bit of a waffly reply last night to do with sewing but had an attack of the sausage fingers and deleted it. Suffice to say Lara that I'm pleased I'm making a skirt from three pieces of fabric, when I watch Dinah cutting aout about 15 bits of pattern, trying do discern exactly WHICH bits they are! I actually dreamt about sewing last night.
£108 IS a lot! I think £55 is a lot but I guess it's the market isn't it? Pans look grand - I thought the other ones were heart-shaped at first but I think they just have a lip on either side!
Money question time: I've signed up to Bingoport and posted 1000 points' worth of waffle on the boards ... now what??
And does anyone know how to post pictures onto Ciao reviews? I think you get more experience points for it, but do you have to 'go green' before you can do it in the first place?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Aye they are expensive, and if we wanted a smaller do I'd have loved to go to abroad, but we'd miss out on so many of our friends and family being there as it would be too much of a strain for them to afford it, so we'd rather have it here and have an amazing, but very big day.
Just got my payslip, got backdated pay of £85 ish, which is good as I have £920 in the ISA so between the two thats my deposit for the wedding covered.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yep yep, very expensive! But actually, Lara, I don't think £100 is too horrific as your venue hire will be less (?) so it probably averages out a bit cheaper... maybe
That's exciting about looking at a proper house - just for you and your fiance? How's the studying going by the way?
Dinah, yay that you're going to look around the house! I think it can only a positive thing x
