Urgh! Well its either
a) Better you know now so you can fix it
b) no one will ever notice but you!
I'm toying with the idea of a bit of broderie anglaise frill between the two to break up the colours so it's not so obvious ... Hmmm ....

Aah, thanks very much guys! I worked in Africa for a year when I was 18 but since uni and starting work this is the first real opportunity I've had to spend an extended length of time volunteering in a developing country. And all brought about by a 4-year illness. You never know what opportunities life can bring :T
I'm glad I was able to remind people of how far you've come; I get the same thing sometimes when people remind me how much I've progressed health wise and I'm like 'Oh yeah, WOW!'

Hey everyone
Sounds like dressmaking is progressing well - what are you making Tete? I am intrigued.
Just been busy getting on with bits, trying to see a few more of the venues for the wedding. We got a quote for caterers to for the artist studio to include hiring and setting up tables and chairs. It was £105 plus vat per person!!!! No twirly Martins. Looks like we would have to do it DIY, but I always said I didn't want to do that but, we'll see...
Also we are going for a house viewing on Friday afternoon, this big 3 bedroom house came up on shared ownership. I have got millions of questions to ask about the financials, but it's an interesting place, just about 5 or 10 minutes walk from where we live now.
Felling quite naughty for not doing any dooYoo or Ciao, you lot are so good. Will gear up for £5 a day again in November, could really do with is coming up to christmas, and it seems like there are a hundred birthdays between now and then.

Sounds like your plans are starting to come together Lara. £108 per person is a lot! Hope you manage to work something else out for a bit cheaper.0

£108 per person?! Blimey! I'm just at the start of wedding plans so it'll be good to see how you guys manage it too. Have you got a date for yours? The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Grief ours is £55 per person I think, and thats for a glass of bucks fizz, 2 glasses of wine, and a glass of chapagne per person, plus a 3 course meal from a hotel with an aa rossette. I still need to call up and put down the deposit though.
I spent my first £40 of Dooyoo Amazon vouchers last night. I had been planning to save them all up for the house and buy everything when we move in, but now I'm buying for the house when the price is at a good deal. So i found this site, which lists all the best discounts on Amazon, and from there I bought these, which while not thrillingly exciting are well rated and seem to be a good price. So they can go into the shed ready for the house. There was another, better set on there, with a better discount, however they don't work on induction hobs, and if we end up on our ideal village there is no gas supply there, so we're probably going to end up with an induction hob. I'll stop boring you with pans now!
Speaking of which, we have decided to view the house in the ideal village. NIM is going to call and make an appointment to view at lunchtime. I think the garden would be too small to put on the extension we'd want to make it livable and still have any outside space, but it doesn't hurt to go and look.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
