Well done Poolie! I'm aiming for about £5 on there tonight, hoping my star rating goes up for even just a few tracks. It's weird how much difference the 1p can make.
Not sure what's happened with the price there Dinah, maybe they've had a lot of views and are pushing their luck a little? Good idea to go for the viewing. It really does sound like a good buy!0 -
Even so, a lot of views and no sale in 6 months wouldn't cause me to raise the price 30k!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yeah no point raising the price by £30k if no offers in 6 months. They may bite your hand off it you offered a fair price.
Also, you said it is opposite as school. How busy is the road during school terms? Also what is parking like for a) you and NIM and b) the school.0 -
Been considered, it has a driveway so we could park two cars off road anyway. Although access to the driveway might get blocked during school peak times. School has a stunning 72 pupils, the vast majority of which are from within the village or the next village along so traffic is unlikely to be a major issue.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hi Dinah,
All is sounding very positive and you are sounding very relaxed!
The house sounds great and I agree about the wedding rings. OH's was platinum (£800) and he gets lots of compliments on it. It is very trendy and he loves it too
We are all moved. The new place is lovely. So spacious and well decorated. The landlady dropped in flowers and a card as well and they seem to be lovely.
Hope everyone else is wellTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Blimey, we were lucky if we got a civil word from our old landlord he was a nightmare!
Glad you are all settled in though and enjoying the new place.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Thanks!
Yes, we got it all sorted. When I said how upset I was she backed down and said she didn't want anything. I wasn't happy with this, as I didn't want anyone to feel like they had been done, so I offered £120 as a way of compromise. 1/2 what they thought they were owed, and more than we thought we owed. Everyone seemed happy, although I still think they were extremley cheeky.
Yeah, couldn't believe how nice the landlady and landlord are. We are renting a higher quality property so manybe that is why? Although it should be the case with any property.
We also went to the baby show and bought our pram and other essential bits! The pram won't arrive til after Xmas (I'm superstitious) but we saved £100 on all the products so very MSE!!! It is a great relief to have gotten the pram. It's as bad as picking a wedding dress!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Dinah - the house sounds like it s definitely worth a look, you will know when you see it if you want to go for it.
CMD- Glad the new flat is lovely, landlady sounds really nice too. I would love to go to a baby show, that is great you got all the stuff for cheaper. I can imagine picking a pram would be a nightmare. My mum has always said she will get me one of the massive old fashioned silvercross prams (when I have a baby) but I think it would take up a bit too much room and be impossible to do anything with haha.0
