It can be used on things under you just don't get any change. Apparently there are 4.99 tins of biscuits and stuff.

I always do that before a diet Cinny, stuff myself haha

Oo, might print one off in that case! Pad my Grandparents crimble present out a bit. Can print one off for OH too, means it's one less present he needs to buy this year.

Flower - I did that last year, buying one each week to spread the cost. Feels good to be organised doesn't it? :D I'm nearly done, just 3 big things and 5 small things left to buy now.

Definatly feels good to be organised.

Having a bit of a dilemma over one present though. OHs sister has a boyfriend who both OH and i hate for various reasons - wont go into it! But i know if we dont get him something but get his brothers girlfriend something it will cause arguments.
Was thinking we could get his sister and her boyfriend a voucher to go out for a meal rather than actually have to buy him a present, thus avoiding any tension - what do you think?

    New Diet Challenge

New challenge starts tomorrow, so anyone intending to join enjoy a last day of freedom (or if you're a goody two shoes get an early start!). So either tonight or tomorrow night you know the drill, weigh yourself and post on here if you intend to do the challenge, put it in big and bold at the top like the title above so we know who is doing it, and put up your weight, height, waist, chest, hips, thigh, arm and any other measurements you want to track, and your bmi.

The goal we're going for is a stone by New Years, which is a bit easier than last time as we're doing it over 12 weeks rather than 10 weeks. If you are going for a different goal state this, as not everyone will have a stone to loose. Anyone who does have a stone or more, go for the full stone as it's not exactly an arduous level of weight loss we're aiming for given the time frame, and I think if you only aim for 3 lbs or something over a month you won't notice the difference, and are less likely to make proper changes to your diet and it will all be 'oooh just one donut won't hurt'!

I think Tete might have managed the full stone too this time around, but shes away atm so won't know till she gets back.

Erm..I cannot believe I am saying this..but here goes, can I join please? I need to do something for myself what with everything else going on at the mo.

Couldn't you just nip to B&M or something and get him a little gift set? I got OHs brother a Lynx one from there last year, was only £1.99 (I think) be cheaper than a voucher.

Make that 3 big presents and 4 small ones! Just ordered my sister a typical cheese DVD - Picture This with Ashley Tisdale this year!

Well was thinking of getting his sister some pink fluffy slipper boots that i have seen (shes very girly and always complaining about cold feet!) then thought the voucher for meal and then do a similar thing for his brother. Something small for him and then a meal voucher for him and his girlfriend.

That way there could be no arguements and would still be within our budget we set for each of them - love how i have to decide what OHs family will have for christmas!! lol

I have to do the same too! I'm feeling very organised with christmas too. I only have to get one last thing for £5 for my sister then I'm done! :A

But because my Mum isn't very well mentally at the moment I'm thinking of taking over her shopping as much as I can. That way, I can get stuff cheaper, cuz she'd just go out last minute and buy whatever she can find, at whatever price!

Would now be a bit early to sign myself up for the diet challenge and post my stats? Feel a bit nervous posting my hideousness while you lot have already lost stones here, there and everywhere! :o

I was a right goodie two shoes at sewing this week, made my samples and then because I didn't want some stranger measuring my cup size I decided I would make Tete some too!

Right here goes... (I haven't done my measurements yet!)

    Height: 5ft 3
    Weight: 11st 6lbs
    BMI: 28.40

I need to do this challenge twice over before I'm at a normal weight! But according to the Wii Fit I'm not in the obese category... and I don't plan to be! :o
