  • Those seats with the very very high backs that I didn't realise were seats? I don't know this modern architecture!

Ooooh I didn't see those! I saw the completely backless wooden 3 pronged bench ones near the registration desk and a little tree where the mean lady takes a photo of you looking windswept! Lets go for something simpler - near the doors near the reception desk which lead to the front of the building and usually have a sign on saying closed due to high winds.

How exciting your course starts tomorrow. You will both have to let us know how you get on.

Glad you are feeling a little more relaxed Dinah, I am sure things will come out the way you want in the end. I am not very patient either so I know where you are coming from!

Hope you both enjoy your course. What will happen is they will stitch themselves together!

Why is September such a tight month. Have been to the bank this morning to ask them to extend the overdraft to cover us. There is money going in on Monday but I need petrol before then!

Just got a 50% off a room in the Lastminute.com sale. £44.50, usually £90 for a room in Harrogate for Saturday the 17th for my best friends birthday. It's in the town centre so hopefully no taxis needed, and it looks nice and grand - although I didn't look too far into it so it might be rubbish, was just happy to finally find a room under £65!

Morning Poolie, fingers crossed with the bank! ETA: Woops, you've been!
I know what you mean about September though, it seems to drag on forever too.

Work is pretty slow today, had a few jobs come in but I'm basically worked up. A tiny bit of good news though with Premium Bond rates going up 0.5%, its not great or ground breaking but better than a flick on the nose.

ETAx2: The hotel looks lovely Dinah! Sounds like a bargain too.

It looks like a lovely place. Well done on the sale! Must go and have a look myself.

Harrogate looks nice too. Have you been before?

The rooms look fairly nice. Still well done on getting a room for less than £50.

Payday on Friday, get to up the money in savings and so on. On Friday it will go up to 21.67% and then on the 5th it will go up again to 23.33%. My New Year we will have 31.66% of our deposit/wedding fund saved. Thats something at least.
