    Hello!!!!

What a horrid day I've had; work was totally manic and I'm *dying* of a cold which has made coping with rotten work somewhat difficult!

I'm totally behind the conversation now but how much for a wedding venue?! Crikey, to quote my darling OH, 'That's an 'ouse!' And I had to look twice when you said you need to make an extra £12k a year! I'd be impressed if I could make an extra £1k a year never mind month, you're a very ambitious lady! I'm sure you'll get near it too! :)

Off for a shower then going to huddle up in bed sniffling and feeling sorry for myself! Any tips for making my nose less Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer-esque?!

Oh no Birdie. I looked awful when I had a cold, just kept putting vasaline and moisturiser on as often as possible. Use really soft tissues as well. Hope youf feel better soon, I feel for you.

Supposedly echinaeca extract helps fight colds faster. Can't spell it though!

I've been to my womens group at church tonight and I'm feeling a lot less manic. I might not know how things are going to pan out, but they will. Wheather that is we buy a smaller house, buy after the wedding, or there is a different plan for us I don't yet know, but something will come about, I just have to be patient.

    Hey All

Been offline for an age as I have been working non-stop. This time next week everything will be finished and I will be enrolling for my course in Lancaster. Good things come to those who wait, I reckon. Yay!

It's the London Design Festival this week, so a busy time for us, we have some absolutely great new furniture to launch, and we have a big private view of our show on Wednesday that I'm really excited about. Tonight we got to go to City Hall for a reception with Boris Johnson which was really cool. Normally my job is quite dull, so even though I have the cold too Birdie I am still taking all the free booze I can get, LOL.

I am also thinking of taking up this 'waitressing' Tink!!!

I'm afraid I haven't caught up on any of the posts, I hope it's okay to come back in, I feel like I haven't done my homework. Some good advice here, I reckon Dinah. Don't get too down, I am sure you can get a house sorted. You might have to look at a smaller one, in a different area. Would it really be such a big compromise? It would be more of an adventure for the two of you, just married.

Our plans are moving a little bit forward, P is actually going to see a place tomorrow. I think wonders will never cease. Or is it that he has got RSI and can't use his computer?? Hmm....

    Night ladies x

    Morning everyone!

Glad you're feeling a whole lot happier about the house situation Dinah. I think that's the right mind set to be in about it.

Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit under the weather Birdie! I'm starting to get the first of a cold - really bad throat and a snotty nose. Like Wendz said, get some soft tissues and invest in some vaseline! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Lara - Boris Johnson?! Me = Jealous. Sounds like it's all go with you atm! Bet you can't wait till next week when it's over. Must be exciting with Uni though!

Working all day today, doubt I'll have much work but I'm just thinking of the extra pennies! Boy do I need them.

Oooh, and I have some more Christmas Bargains! Body Shop are doing buy one get one half price on selected items, then free P&P and then there's the £5 off when you spend £25 code. Was faffing around last night and managed to get almost £50 worth of stuff for £21, really lovely bits too. So might be an idea for Mums or Grandmas or MIL ect. Stupidly didn't order (mainly because I was falling asleep) so need to try and refind everything again today!
  • Morning all!

Glad you're feeling better now Dinah, like you say it'll all come right in the end and anyway "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans" (I never know whether that's supposed to mean 'don't get too caught up in planning and let life pass you by', or 'don't have too-rigid plans becuase life will step in and throw a spanner in the works'. I think either could work here though.)

I too am jealous of you meeting Boris Lara, there's something so appealing about him! Yay to enrolling!

Aw get well soon Birdie, hope work calms down for you soon :(

Cinny, you've reminded me about Christmas  MUST start making some lovely lists, and order some paper so I can crack on with Crimble Cards!

For now though must crack on with printing some mail merges :(
