Ohh that is nice Cinny. Quite a good price when you split it between you all as well.

Crikey! I leave the thread for one afternoon and I come back to nothing but pages and pages of train times... Hope everyone has had a nice afternoon though!

    Check out the kitchen though!

:rotfl: I'm to blame for all the train times I'm afraid! :o

I love that kitchen! And the views! I guess you can dream...

Oooh, Hobart house looks lovely! It doesn't seem too expensive either, how much will be it when you go?

I didn't get out of work until 6.30 last night, and that's because I had to go to my Mum's! I've still got a pile of work to sort out so I'm going to go in for a bit this afternoon whilst OH's watching the rugby- bit of overtime for my holiday! I just remembered last night that my brother still owes me £100 for my old laptop, more holiday money! I was getting worried that I wouldn't have any spending money when I went but it seems like I'll have a fair bit so it's all OK! I doubt I'll need much, it's all inclusive so I don't need to buy food or drink which is what I usually spend all of my money on and I don't think it's much of a shopping holiday! I think the spending money will be for a couple of day trips and maybe a 'Dolphin Encounter' at Ocean World, ooh, I can't wait!

I was looking at the Sandals holidays last night and this is my dream holiday-http://www.sandals.com/main/negril/ne-highlight2.cfm if only we could afford about £3k *each*!

Well that does look lovely! My mum and dad went on a sandals holiday for their 25th wedding anniversary in Cuba, looked so nice!

That is annoying you have to go into work today but at least it is extra money.

So far this morning I have made a cooked breakfast and done some hoovering. OH hasn't found out from his friends if him or both of us are going to museum with him yet.
  • I love the idea of the swim up villas. It's cool!

We spent quite a bit on our honeymoon (too much now looking back) but OH was determined to pick an eco honeymoon where all the workers get paid a decent wage. We went to Borneo to see the orangutans (and to chill out!). I am so glad we went there, as it is so unspoilt but I don't think I could justify that amount of money again. Then again, honeymoons are meant to be special. I would love to go to Cuba!

The only thing I have managed to do this morning is have a shower!!! Have a busy day ahead though, so need to get a move on.

Hahaha, yikes!!That apartment looks lovely Cinny and I love the look of the little seaside town too.

Also, very nice Sandals thing Birdie-I'd love to go to Jamaica for the Bob Marley bits. Would love to go on safari for honeymoon :)

Lovely weekend here, but a bit shattered now. Went to Stokesley Show yesterday and saw lots of weird and wonderful creatures, then out to OH's friends' for drinks last night and a lovely 8-mile walk in the sunshine round Hambleton today. I'm just sort of half passed out on the bed now, contemplating work hell tomorrow :(

We saw an AMAZING venue. Only problem is at such short notice (yes, anything under 2 years is considered short notice) we can't get a Friday or Saturday or Sunday! And its the most expensive place we've seen. And the cheapest room is £180 a night. And they don't throw one in free for the bride and groom. And there are only 16 of them so not everyone could stay there. Confused and sad all at once.

  • Aww, I'm sure something else will come along. Amazing it may have been but with all the 'and...'s it wasn't the perfect place for YOU...

Well by the time we go back there we'll have seen everything in the area, we'll know if there is somthing bette. Despite all the 'ands', this one actually ticked the most boxes so far.
