Try the Endsleigh Student Bonus Accelerator. Find it on the Endsleigh website.
It gives you one year no claims after 6 months, assuming you stick with them for the next 12 months. After that (18 months), they give you a 2 year no claims certificate0 -
Try adding your mum or girlfriend on as a named driver as that can lower the premium. Presumably because they think that they'll be driving sometimes and are a lower risk.0

And ties you to Endsleigh0 -

No it doesn't. Only after the initial 6 months. After the full 18 months they give you the 2 year no claims certificate and you can go wherever you like. And ties you to Endsleigh
The person who started the thread said he would like to build up his NCD and this is an ideal method.
"In the unlikely event that you choose to leave us after 18 months we will issue you with proof of the 2 years no claims discount earned with us." Source0 -
So you are tied to them for the first renewal.
There are virtually no other companies that will accept the 6 months no claims bonus as a years no claims bonus. There are companies (Not all) who will accept the 18 months no claims bonus.
For a lot of people it can bet better simply taking out a normal twelve month policy and then they can shop around with the entire market (That covers young drivers) at each renewal. I grant you the bonus accelorator policies can save some people money, however it is important to factor in any potential pitfalls0 -
