fee(((Massive, massive, hugs for you and your little one))).You must remember that we are all here for you and anything you want to moan, rant about is fine on here. You are marvelous in the way you are managing. Don't forget you need to have time for you. You could join your local carers group when you feel up to it. They will be able to give help and support for you and littly.

hex2 DH has learnt to build on the job with others as a labourer and we are doing our barn like you. Him doing things and then getting them signed off. I have booked two of my old students who are just qualified as electrician and plumber for help too.

We got rid of our last advacado bathroom suite a couple of years ago and our lemon one went last summer. The house has all white now.:j:j:j

Someone mentioned difficult teens. Mine are all older teens but me brother e mailed me ast night to ask if we could take on his 16 yr old daughter who is ' off the rails'.
DH is suffering from the old 'black dog' at present so we will have to think carefully about it.

My visit to the doctor has resulted in another steroid injection in my elbow and being told to use it for nothing for 48hours.:p

    :DNo flying for me then!:D

Despite making a dip in the middle of the cake it has peaked and split  Never mind, the kitchen is tidy, the washing is on, the permanent hotspot from the kitchen has pretty much been dealt with, HR have called me and been told that no, they can't have my personal mobile or email details as I don't trust them to look after my data, they can just get on and get things sorted BEFORE my termination date!

Suppose I'd better get the hoover out and go and move the sofa...

    Welcome Mics_chick and Cinny

Quillion have you become a recruiter for the flylady thread? LOL! :rotfl:

Another ginormous spider dealt with... pulled out the sofa and it was sitting on the back of it  I'm hoping it's the same one that used to live in the kitchen which I haven't seen for a while...

Anyway, dyson cylinder with dead spider in is now outside in the rain (managed to get the washing in just in time, and next lot isn't ready to go out yet... hopefully the water butt will benefit!).

So now I need to give the sitting room a really thorough hoover, move what furniture I can and try wiping the woodwork with tea-tree as well... I have such an exciting life!

Oh yes... and my work login should be reactivated in the next hour or so... so I'll be able to do some work

My HHC got interrupted as my mum arrived but I did manage to feed Gemma, WM x 1 and wash my dishes.

Going to carry on and do another HHC now.

  • How did you get on juliejim?

I finished making the elderberry ice cream; wiped all the kitchen units inside and out; did some more washing up; sorted some post and made the phone calls that I needed to make.
Will do another HHC after lunch.
