Hi Polly, how are you? What are you up to this bank holiday weekend?
If its any consolation, we are totally skint here at Pen Towers this week and I'm off the wine for a while.
Hope everything is ok, Pen xThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

Yey ! The 30's Polly. Focus on what you have acheived.
And it's not self obsessed drivel, it's your diary so write what you like
I have my to-do list and it's very long, but it has to be done, that way we can float
Alcohol, wish I could take it or leave it. BGT and a couple of Stellas last night, thing is it's not my idea of fun anymore. Just think it is. Alcohol free all week, it's not a problem and the sleep is quality (oh that sounds so '80's!).
Polly you recognise where you're at so keep going, the totals are going down so you're doing it rightDC.

Polly if the drivel keeps you going, then so what, we don't mind
you are not self obsessed at all, just feeling a little low.
With regards to work, if you can't keep a list going when its busy (and I know I can't), print off each email, put them in a pile, then just do one at a time and bin it as soon as you've finished it. Totally environmentally unfriendly but it does help make you feel like you've achieved something.
Given the cr*ppy weather yesterday I was very tempted to climb back into bed. Had a major de-clutter instead. If you don't want the wine in the house donate it to someone running a summer fete or something - schools/groups are always asking for raffle prizes this time of each.
Today is a new day hun, think of something nice that you want to do for yourself and do it. Have a good BH Sunday, Pen x
ps Your debt is coming down so well, congrats on the 30'sThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
Hey Polly, don't apologise, your drivel is riveting! I so sympathise on the alcohol thing - I can't have it in the house either. But after years of struggling with it - not helped by having an off licence 1 minute away - I have succeeded in never buying alcohol - haven't consumed any at home all this year - which means I really look forward to social occasions and the chance for a glass or two.
Congrats on getting into the 30s! I just wish I could leave them behind.....Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Morning Polly, the night over at your Dad's might be ok. Perhaps they can sense you are having a tough time and want to try to do something nice? Like you said it gives you something to focus on xThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
