Perfectly sensible (see FlyLady site on a month to establish a habit, etc). And Penny's right about keeping trying - took me a long while to figure that out instead of 'set unachievable goal, fail, beat self up for general uselessness, repeat'.
Daniel Craig, Flakes and new lipgloss sounds like a good combo to me

Hi Polly
Water intake me too. Tea - annd I drink a lot of it - increases my smoking habit, which is something I continue to battle with. How are you doing with it ?
Now Daniel Craig, sigh.....DC.

Hi Polly, well done on the dry weekend. I wish I could achieve it. I think that will be my next plan of action after Easter.
There's no point in giving up the chocolate yet, you need to fit in a couple of Easter Eggs first, would be rude not too! This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
Just caught up. 14 days no drinking - wow, that's GOOOD. Am not drinking myself - tonight. Is more to do with the fact a rogue set of scales today told me I have gained 6lbs. Surely some mistake? Don't actually think I have - well, not that much, all clothes still fit - but not panicking until I see what my USUAL scales say. Then may panic A LOT. For today, have cut out carbs (and eating generally) and no alcohol. And drunk lots of water. So on same track as you.
Now off to do something instead of be on here.....

Hi Polly, fingers crossed for you regarding work. What will happen, will happen, so please don't worry and stress about it over your Easter weekend, cos it won't change anything.
Have you made any plans yet for the weekend? Are you going to treat yourself to a nice bottle of wine or something? This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.

Hi Polly, keep your chin up, you are doing well x
Hope everthing goes ok with the parents tomorrow. I normally go into panic mode if I know they are coming round. At least the housework burns a few poundsThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.

No you haven't turned into a right wuss - you are still a strong woman, it is just that the strength has been buried beneath all the layers of "stuff" that have gathered over the last few years.
You say that you already feel lighter for having sorted some paperwork - that is one layer of "stuff" you are no longer carrying, so that inner strength is that bit closer to coming back to the surface.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
