:rotfl::rotfl:I did consider taking OHs cousin who is 5. But she spends the whole time pointing to the ducks telling everyone how yummy they are when they are cooked - which is slightly more embarrassing :rotfl:

:rotfl:Yeah I think that would embaress me too!!

I was in Matalan a few months ago and a we boy of maybe 4 or 5 said to his mum... I've got poop in my nappy...he turned around and pointed his !!! at her and said... It stinks, can you smell it?

I burst out laughing but she looked like she could have died! :rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl:Im not surprised!! I think i would die of shame!

Makes me so glad that we can hand OHs cousin back at the end of the day - especially when she comes out with comments like she does! Although OH just encourages her so its no wonder some of the things she says.

Hopeful, I am currently sorting through baby things (have already given away/Ebayed a lot though), I don't want to cause offence, but if there's anything you need (and are not proud!) I'd be more than happy to pass them your way :)

Mac that's really kind - thank you :heart2: I have managed to sort the bigger / more expensive things - either through borrowing from friends who are inbetween having babies or having back things i've lent out like the highchair. It is now a list of 'bits' ie bibs, socks, breast pads (really don't want these to be 2nd hand lol ) etc I'll use the maternity grant for the pushchair / car seat. I appreciate your offer though and certainly wouldn't have been too proud! ;)

That reminds me, who is down for September totalising??

I'm pretty sure that Jo has volunteered for September
I'm loving this idea - bagsy second please

Hopeful - good idea about the savings - I'm gonna do that - each day I'll pad the loose change in the account and transfer it to a savings account until we are in the overdraft [won't be padding much after a couple of days lol]. Thanks for the idea - starting it from 28th when we get paid :T

    Helen x

I'm fairly sure i've come across others on DMPs who have done the same thing. I just wanted to tie you into the thread really so you couldn't leave ;):p

Green - thank you for that hug and cute picture xxx

DT - safe journey back tomorrow xxx

Wish I could have given my wee cleo (as in, cleopatra ) to someone today...kids can be a real handful when their not well!

On the brightside though, I managed to do a total revamp upstairs...the house hasn't felt so empty since we moved in! :D

Did you manage to do your new budget? Things still o.k with the in-laws?

Well I do have a Maxi Cosi Baby Seat (in Henri Grey Velour) which has never been in an accident. They don't sell on Ebay as everyone wants new, but it's in perfect order, so I'll have to give it away.
(I also had the next stage which I did sell though! ;))
You are welcome to have first refusal, I won't be in the least bit offended if you say no - I'd just rather it go to a good home. :)
  • Another PAD for me of £45.38 to the Virgin card... thats £5 for each day last week that I was away and £10.38 to round the debt account down.

On a seperate note, in terms of the PAD diet, after our hols I am back at 11 1/2 st, so need to get back on track with that! Back to work tomorrow, and its easier to eat less then :o

  • Evening,

Hope everyone has had a good weekend!

PaD of £20 for me please mac (this is for yesterday too as I fell asleep before posting).

Tired myself out with a 28 mile hike. Not exactly what's recommended to wear in a new pair of hiking shoes but at least they're nicely battered now. Bonus is that we didn't get lost (last time we went this route we were lost for 2 hours!). Map reading skills must have improved and only needed the compass once.

That has really shamed me into getting it cleared once and for all. By the end of September if I can manage it!!

    You can do it!!!
We like cake a bit too much though so a few weight watchers mini muffins or carrot cakes may be a better idea!! :rotfl:
Edinburgh isn't that far from me so you can pop up with said leftovers and share them with me!

    Methinks you're conflicted Angelic :D
