  • I'm assuming you never went for the saving stamps option then! Not gloating or anything (honestly, I'm not!!) but come Jamuary I'll just hand over my stamps and that'll be it. It's not to everyone's liking but I love my stamps!

I will go with the savings stamps option for the next year. I do like the idea but everything was so tight that I have ended up putting diesel in my van £5 - £20 at a time recently. In fact, last week was the first time I filled it up in ages. I just seem to permanently be waiting for the next batch of cheques to clear. I will get a £5 stamp whenever I can manage it in future. At least it will make a hole in the bill next time even if I haven't got the whole lot covered.
  • HA - Snowball says I must clear my HSBC card - so I will. Have just paid my snowball to my HSBC card plus a little more so another PAD of £70 :D

Starting September as I mean to go on (yes its still August but my budget for September starts today so there you go).

Oh, I get my pad money from online scratchies, mystery shopping, flowers deliveries, selling on e-bay and my home phoneline job which is my 2nd job.
  • Those naughty phone calls are paying off! :rotfl:

They def are :D my aim for September is to make an extra £100 minimum every week to help clear my debts.

EDIT - ooooh I've just noticed I've got two stars :D

Hey everyone - Happy Bank Holiday!
No hangover today hurrah! Just a financial one
My car conked this week, so it's prob gonna cost a few £100's to get it fixed.
I can't justify getting a large loan and adding to my debts til at least next year, but I spent £100 on it last month for the MOT and bits.....Grrrrrr.

I can't get by without one, so I"ll have to minimize the PADs til I know what the bill will be......One step forward and 10 back

So a conservative £1 today - will catch up later (enjoy your meal tonight Cashless!)
