Hello
Can I join in please? I have lurked on here for so long and enjoy reading all the posts, and then I thought why on earth am I just lurking and not joining in!
I won't be able to PAD everyday, but will post what I am able to, whenever I can.
Today's PAD is £25 please and that has actually finished my CC which had my overdraft on. It has taken me just over a year to pay off £2600 and I am so proud that at last I have taken control of my finances!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

without getting into a debate as there are other threads more suitable for that, i agree that a child feeling good about themselves and having a high self esteem is paramount as this breeds confidence in everything they do.
I also believe that bullying happens at every school and buliies tend to target easy victims that give them the response they want, if you stick to pauls point on high self esteem when it comes to the point when your child is at the hands of a bully they themselves can nip it in the bud and not give the bully the response they are after.
I was rarely a victim of bullying at school as to me it seems that being a victim is something that i was not prepared to be!, i hope i have installed the same ethos in my son, to always stand up to anyone and look after and protect the people that are close to you.

Hi guys, are you only adding each other on FB via Farmville and for Farmville. Don't want to overstep any boundaries here.
But feel free to add me. Name is Kate Norris (shocker!) and profile pic is of me and OH in the sun, both wearing caps and sunglasses, smiling like crazy! lol A pic from the Lowlands Festival.Only to the people I feel I "know" well from here though. Although I have found that I have added loads of people but can't remember their MSE names
Also, I thought you were a boyand that Norris was your first name :rotfl:

Ahhh, I see! Fair enough.
A boy??!! Haha, no Norris is the family name and euronorris is a nickname I got when I started dating my OH as he was living in Belgium at the time so I was travelling a lot on the Eurostar.
But, this usually makes people chuckle. My OH's surname is Morris. So we're Morris and Norris. Hotel's always get it wrong and we become Mr & Mrs Morris! hahahaha.
But my UK colleagues decided that we should have kids and call Boris and Doris. Kept them amused for days! lol, which I don't think says much about their sense of humour....:rolleyes:February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

PaD for me today is £10
I've been very MSE today. Joined the local library and when I went with my housemate to get a milkshake from McDonalds, they asked if we would like to take part in market research so we got a free 'Big Tasty' burger.0 -
