Good afternoon All,
Just got back from giving blood for the first time - I haven't had an arm this dead since those stupid arm punching contests I used to have in school . . . I have the feeling that the mother of all bruises is brewing under my plaster . . .
Anyways my change from a sandwich to stop me keeling over & a bottle of juice amounts to 70p in small change in various tins pleaseDFW NERD# 1175Proud Member of Sealed Pot Challenge #5 ~ 1479 cashless_wonder~*DEBT FREE & LOVING IT*~0 -

Thanks Euro and Paul,
Without getting into a debate as there are other threads more suitable for that, I agree that a child feeling good about themselves and having a high self esteem is paramount as this breeds confidence in everything they do.
I also believe that bullying happens at every school and buliies tend to target easy victims that give them the response they want, if you stick to Pauls point on high self esteem when it comes to the point when your child is at the hands of a bully they themselves can nip it in the bud and not give the bully the response they are after.
I was rarely a victim of bullying at school as to me it seems that being a victim is something that I was not prepared to be!, I hope i have installed the same ethos in my son, to always stand up to anyone and look after and protect the people that are close to you.0 -

Add me as well if you'd like... If you add Flyin, you'll see me as a mutual friend... my name is the same, surprisingly enough!
