Not been padding for a few weeks. No spare cash - not even a penny. It was that bad that I had to resort to using the evil cc to buy petrol. Hopefully all sorted now.
I will pad later today once I know how much I have.

Hi everyone,
Back again so quickly!
I have just paid my first PAD for my barclaycard.
Instead of my min payment of £48.19 I have paid £60.22
Now that in itself makes me feel better!
So can I now put down £60.22 as my first daily payment??!!!
Or is this cheating? My minimum payment is due so this is my normal payment day so can I use this as one of my payment a day's or does it just count extra payments you make?
Yay!
See you tomorrow then?

You can do whatever suits you. Some people include their minimum payments as well as any extras they make as their pad, its entirely upto you.

I have my dd set up to pay minimum payments so that if all else fails those are still paid. If I make additional small payments before the due date of dd, are they affected e.g. will they not take them and then charge me for not meeting minimum payment, will they deduct what they have received from the minimum payment and take less or will they just ignore additional payment and take as usual?
Sorry to be a pain but don't want to incurr additional charges
I asked the same question a few weeks back ( I have a Barclaycard) and they are the only cc company that if you make a payment wether it be a quid or 100 quid and you have the dd set up it wont take the dd!! All the other cc companies do though............Quit Day - 8th July 2009.0 -

thanks kezzae, I've got one of those dreaded Barclaycards as well so thanks for the warning. I'll have to make sure that if I make any additional payments, I also manually pay the minimum as well :mad:Nerd No. 12452014 Challenges:Attempting to snowball to freedom!0 -
