  • An Irishman who had a little too much to drink is driving
home from the city one night and of course, his car is weaving violently
    all over the road.
    A cop pulls him over.
" So," says the cop to the driver, "where have ya been?"
"Why, I've been to the pub of course," slurs the drunk.
" Well," says the cop, "it looks like you've had quite a few to drink
    this evening."
" I did all right," the drunk says with a smile.
"Did you know," says the cop, standing straight and folding his arms
across his chest, "that a few intersections back, your wife fell out of your car?"
"Oh, thank heavens," sighs the drunk.
"For a minute there, I thought I'd gone deaf."

  • Hi all - have been AWOL recently but am back now with the house deposit fund slightly dented and my PaDs started again in earnest. Today's PaD is £3.62 for now but I'm currently reviewing the remaining finances for the month, so I may be back later

When OH turned 21 i had only been seeing him for about 4 weeks and he invited me to his party - not knowing that his mum was going to present him with a cake with picture on of him naked as a toddler sat on his potty :rotfl::rotfl:

  • a poor £2.78 to HSBC credit card today... nothing major... but next month i can pay the whole lot off the Cc! wooooo hoooooo!:j
I have learnt from my in-debt days....never again!
  • Ooh I have been MIA for ages.

Not been making any PAD's but did manage to accidentally to pay extra money to a cc. DH Tesco c/c minimum payment last month bounced so when the statement came through it said minimum payment £203.00 with £101.00 due immediately so we paid it and then when they took the DD it was for £203.00.

Should have been happy but the cc is on 0% and we have others we are trying to clear first.

PAD for last week - £101.00

  • DH has a Halifax c/c (formerly Amazon) with a balance of £1800ish @ 22.9%, we need to get this paid off so he can do a BT as his limit is £6000. We could move the money to another card and incur a 3% fee and then BT it back with another 3% fee but not sure if it is worth it. Not sure what deal he would get on BT but hopefully at least 6.9% for life.
We have BT'd around before and with the fees I don't feel like I am getting anywhere so am going to try to pay this off in either 9 or 18 weeks so needing £100 - £200 per week.

    Today's PAD is £20.21

P.S For those addicted to FarmVille just wondering if you wish to have a go in real life!! I have so many animals to look after and it's hard work so am thinking about getting rid of them all and getting my farming fix from Farmville!!!
