Morning all! Been MIA due to moving DD into uni (hi DT:hello:). Spent a fortune  but got her there OK - couldn't have been better, lovely room/great accomodation, 3 flatmates (1 girl, 2 boys, all seemed nice), good location, health club/pool in basement, shops/bars/club at ground level, park/art gallery opposite, good bus service. As we were unpacking, flatmates knocked & asked her to go out with them, so a quick hug for us & off she went leaving us to unpack & leave
Then yesterday - less than 24 hours in she has lost her phone  & has fallen out with one of the boys - & is homesick :eek::eek: Gosh I thought it was too good to be true!

My son seems to have settled in fine don't know whether anybody else has moved in yet but the two girls I met were nice - and his post on facebook says that he had an awesome night last night and that was posted at 4am  I am not allowed to comment as I am not allowed to reveal myself as his mom he only added me because I badgered him to be my neighbour on farmville

Are you an embarrasing Mum? Apparently I am too, DDs mates (11/12 yo) think im cool, unfortunately DD doesnt.
I think maybe it has something to do with me posting baby pics of her on Facebook, I had to remove them to keep the peace
Pad today was £30 to MIL, only a short term debt but I got a flat tyre on Friday and MIL lent me the cash to get a new one sorted.

My mum did this to me about two weeks after i started uni 3 years ago, and tagged everyone of them  apparently i was a cute baby though, according to everyone on facebook that saw them!!
When OH turned 21 i had only been seeing him for about 4 weeks and he invited me to his party - not knowing that his mum was going to present him with a cake with picture on of him naked as a toddler sat on his potty :rotfl::rotfl:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I think we should introduce Amber to my son. He doesn't do lie ins either, even when he's had a disturbed night. He coughed for 4 hours during the night on Fri but was bright as a button all day. I, on the hand, had to slope off for a quick nap lol
lol I know the feeling!!! Amber is the older one who will sleep half the day away it's the puppy who can't seem to sleep for very long!!!!!Thought you'd be up doing the Great North Run Green!:D:D
