  • Hi All

    OH is back home!

I drove down to London (in a hire car) yesterday and was not sure whether I would be coming back on my own today or bringing back OH with me - his stuff still had to come back in any case. We didn't know when they would be finishing - they finished at 3:30pm yesterday with a crate of beer and some champers! I made quite good time yesterday - 3.5 hours including 3 loo stops. This morning was spent packing and cleaning the flat then handing the keys over. The journey back took 4.5 hours because of the horrendous traffic in London!

Anyway, today's PAD is £1.20 to Abominable Amex

    Good morning all

First of all 5 pounds to DH cap one cc -nearly under 1200 pounds now so will update sig in few days hopefully.

Very happy household today - DS1 got a job:j (it is temporary but could last for a few months). Got a call from one of the agencies he is registered with as he had contacted them all again yesterday morning and they all said they were looking for him (must admit i was a bit sceptical as i know they are very busy) and lo and behold he got a call at 4 pm yesterday to ask him to start Monday. It's a admin post at local government agency office (his security clearance only came through Thursday). He still wont have any money for a few weeks till he gets paid but it is such a relief.

Hope everyone else has a fab weekend. :A

Does this mean you can charge board from when he gets paid?

Seriously though .. well done boysma's son..or should that be boy?
