  • A teenage granddaughter
    comes downstairs for her date
with this see-through blouse on and no bra.
Her grandmother just pitched a fit,
Telling her not to dare go out like that!
    The teenager tells her
    'Loosen up Grams.
    These are modern times.
You gotta let your rose buds show!'
    and out she goes.
The next day the teenager comes down stairs,
and the grandmother is sitting there with no top on.
    The teenager wants to die.
    She explains to her grandmother
that she has friends coming over
and that it is just not appropriate....
    The grandmother says,
    'Loosen up,
    Sweetie.
If you can show off your rose buds,
then I can display my hanging baskets.

  • Hi all and welcome to the newbies
Nice to see you back tomtom - hope you had a great time.

Great news on hubby's new job hopeful :T

Just got my new bills for gas and electric :mad: electric going down from £86 a month to £70 but gas going up from £81 to £129 :mad::mad: bearing in mind that I had a right carry on with BG about my gas account last year, they kept telling me I had a pre payment meter and I kept telling them that I didn't!!! Eventually (nearly a year later) they agreed I had a normal meter!! I owed them nearly £400  which they "kindly" let me pay off over 12 months. Well the 12 months are up now and of course I haven't paid it all off so they're putting DD up to cover arrears, I'm fuming and I can't afford it!

DS3 started an apprenticeship on Monday so I rang tax credits, who said that I can't claim for him anymore and also no more child benefit! Am so peed off and will now have to work out my already tight budget!

Have told DS that he will have to contribute towards household bills, he wasn't impressed! don't know which smiley best represents his face here, this  or this _pale_ :rotfl::rotfl: He gets £150 a week and I have asked him for £25 a week, he thinks I'm unreasonable!
