Violent Cat

  • Well, I can't add anything more to this, except it is a very good idea to find out from the other neighbours if there are any issues you need to know about. It does sound like there are either mental health, debt or offending issues here, especially from the refusal to open doors - expecting bailiffs, police or other pet owners perhaps?

Surely the cat would have gone home earlier if it's home was so close? And if it was nervous about going in to next door's and had to be tempted then it sounds to me as if your neighbour is hoarding other people's cats! (I'm not rational on that subject just now, some unknown person is doing that with one of mine and I'm very annoyed about it).

I think your best next action is to talk to your other neighbour and find out why she doesn't let her cat out. If there is a history you are better off knowing what it is.

Its a very strange situation. and I cant believe how common it is for people to try to steal other peoples cats!!
I agree that you should ask around the other neighbours about her and I wouldnt confront her, especially as you are pg, as she sounds abit loopy

Things seem to be getting stranger

I have noticed whilst out today 2 more sets of posters have gone up for missing cats in the area, both of which look familiar to cats i have seen hanging around the neighbours house

There are also 3 new cats about one of which has the most amazing colouring i have never seen anything like it!! He is all black and white but his tail his striped black and white so he is very easy to distinguish from one to another!!

What the hell do i do :o

Oh no! Why on earth is your neighbour doing that? Isn't it theft?

I'd call the poster numbers and say you think you saw their cats in your neighbours garden, that way you have done as much as you can but without direct confrontation with your neighbour. I'd also call cats protection and ask for thir advice/assistance.

How is Angry cat? has s/he stopped visiting now that your neighbour is tempting cats into her house?

  • Yes, I was wondering where Aggro was ... (*L* I told a friend about him and she said he sounded like that crocodile Steve Irwin had .. the one that would always go for him, called Aggro!) ...

I agree with RacyRed ... phone those numbers ... let the owners know there is a chance they may be there. Explain to them the situation and say they are welcome to come look from your garden ... (your neighbour can't say what goes on in your garden!) .. if they recognise their cat, then it is up to them to leg it over the boundary and whip it back!

Spent the past couple of days out and about doing bits and pieces and staying at a friends so havent really seen him for a few days.

Coming home yesterday with the kids!!! Angry cat came out from under the bush and approached me for a fuss!! :j

He is still walking very slowly and still doesnt seem well but he definatly seems to trust me, i think i may ring the RSPCA on tuesday and explain to them that he is full of fleas and how his fur has turned yellow etc and see if they will at the very least come and get him checked over by a vet.

Im very impressed that he approached me with both of the kids there though he definatly seems to trust me now :T
