Well I haven't got one and I don't even know what one is
.... so I'm off to sit in a corner 'all by myself' and sulk!
*harumph!*
( oooh, hang on....... does it look a little bit like a cake slice but shorter and with a kind of veg peeler blade where the handle meets the slice part? .... if so then I think my Mum might have one! ... off to liberate it from her tomorrow)
Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
You're right beanz, last time we were in holland, we went to blokker and got a young cheese slicer and a normal one, both were rubbish.
Back to using our old cheap one, I think we also got a delft blue one for my Mum a few years ago and that wasn't good either.
I can ask my MIL the best place in holland to buy a good cheap one, she's a one woman dutch mse expert site all by herself“Pleasure of love lasts but a moment, pain of love lasts a lifetime.”0 -

Until I read this thread I didn't realise that a cheese slice is so uncommon here. Of course I took mine with me when I moved from the Netherlands to Britain last year. Didn't know you could slice cheese with a knife :rotfl:0 -

Next time go the the HEMA. You can find them on every high street. Their cheese slices are cheap, basic, no frills but excellent and last for years...0 -
