hechizero wrote:Thought I had hit the jackpot with this one. Actually you get a free trial using "WAP Services" (1 month I think) as soon as that expires you get charged a ridiculous rate per mb. I went from £14 credit to £0 in a few days. I will update this thread once I get the billing info from Orange, but the botton line is this "loophole" has been closed.
The free trial in fact is not a month but you can use to a certain limit within 30 days, once you go over the limit you are charged, sorry I can't remember what the limit is0 -

I purchased Orange Out Here when it first came out when i was 16. I still have the same sim card and 5 free txts a day! Probably the best freebie ever!
But i am in the same position as you, i never take up any of the orange offers for fear of losing the Out Here Bonus!
If anyone has this and does try please let us know the outcome!
I also got the 5 free tx's 4eva! Great deal, £15 and included £5 credit & a naff backpack! But the point I wanted 2 make is that I also get free calls 2 other oranges after 7 if I top-up by £10 a month!!
<-- IF U HAVE THIS DEAL CHECK YOUR BALANCE BEFORE & AFTER YOUR CALLS AT THE TURN OF THE MONTH COZ IT CHARGED ME 4 A CALL ON THE 1ST OF THE MONTH BEFORE!!  THE 2nd onwards was free again they just messed up!
you cant have the 10% back of your credit wiv orange out here!:rotfl:0 -
tried it a month ago took my pound and gave me nowt am i the only one?0

Does anyone know if the orange gprs servive can be used with say your laptop to access web pages/email etc. I currently use o2 to achieve this but if orange allowed this access it would certainly be better
Thanks
Been online with orange since december dial in *99# username blank password blank
even without this gprs mistake, you can get a orange world day(24hrs) access for a £10 -
It's definitely stopped working for free...mine stopped yesterday..must be a 30 day deal..0

I would love to try it out, but alas, im benifiting from another orange pay as you go deal/error
Back in the day you could get "5 free texts a day" for a one off payment of £15, (at the time i signed up it was for ever, then it went to a year, and its meant to of expired :-/)
So when you apply for this, does it work? and does it apply a sim update thing via text, as i dont want to risk losing my 5 free texts a day :-(
The orange Outhear pack was spose to last for ever but orange decided to cancel everyone after a year.
However this was illegal and orange got told (by trading standards i assume) that they couldnt cancel the deal as its was sold as a life long deal.
mine still works on my sold phone:D

really?
i thought they got out of it, as it had "we can change the t&c's without notice" in the t&c's
i actually have a spare start pack of it, which i kept as backup in case the deal ended after a year, i wonder if it still works, or how much it is worth now then :-/0
