there is an error on orange system that allows you to get free gprs permantly, got this from am site on wapm called prodigits. by texting the word 'access' to 247. it deducts the usual £1 for an days access but will continue giving you free gprs permantly, mines been free for 2 months now. you will recieve a text back saying when this offer wil start but trust me it will work beyond the 24hrs and save youn £'s . this only works with pay as you go hansets. for details visit a site on wap called prodigits or e mail me
 blah bling blah

Is this really true :-o
I would love to try it out, but alas, im benifiting from another orange pay as you go deal/error
Back in the day you could get "5 free texts a day" for a one off payment of £15, (at the time i signed up it was for ever, then it went to a year, and its meant to of expired :-/)
So when you apply for this, does it work? and does it apply a sim update thing via text, as i dont want to risk losing my 5 free texts a day :-(0 -

GPRS, stands for General Packet Radio Service, and is a protocol for passing data over a mobile phone network. GPRS allows for what has become known as "always on" data connection for GSM mobile phones, allowing for faster WAP browsing, web surfing and email.0

Hi
Does anyone know if the orange gprs servive can be used with say your laptop to access web pages/email etc. I currently use o2 to achieve this but if orange allowed this access it would certainly be better
Thanks0
