    Hi everyone!

I've crochet'd on and off for years now (but only know hwo to make granny squares and use tha same stitches to make scarves and as of tonight a shawl

The Amiguruni's look fab, but I've never ever been able to follow patterns.... I'm not a daft person I've just always been the kind of person to learn by 'doing'... and switch off when reading patterns etc :o
Can anyone recomend a really basic crochet web page so that I learn the stitch names on the other webs site patterns?
I'll try and get a piccie of my shawl tomorrow night loaded

    Have a look here

I like what you've made :) are you by any chance able to share the pattern for the drawstring bag? Wouldn't mind trying to make something useful instead of another toy.
I finished making this bird last night

Here's another draw string purse I just finished. I don't have a pattern though as I just made it up as I went along :)

Crocheted a Mug Cozy last night, thinking of making a few more of these and try to sell them at the Christmas fair. Does £5 sound ok (incl the mug) or perhaps £ 4 on it's own?

Thanks Owen3116. I didn't realise how thick and warm it would be so it's likely to become 'depths of winter' shawl, lol

GreenPixie, I LOVE the mug cosie! Where on earth did you get that idea from? It's very cool...

£5 sounds reasonable, I've seen them on the net for £7. Good idea, I put it on my chrsitmas pressie list of things to make, Thanks.
