I've taken the receipt and voucher to the customer services desk before and they've added the points for me. Happens to me just about every lot of vouchers
.
It's only a game

OH has done that. Asked the CSA "Is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable", she answered "a vegetable", he replied "no, it's a fruit". She just smiled and gave him the points. I think he would have been prepared to argue if he'd had a CSA who wasn't so cheerful.0 -
you paid £1.20 for pre-packed tomatoes?????????????? if there is an ALDI near you go there instead - i got six tomatoes for 49pence the other week and i think they were 29p this week (but dont quote me on this as i didnt buy toms this week)0

cost to tesco? fraction of a penny.
lost good will - priceless.
I've had various things like this before and just taken my voucher to Customer Services who've added the points. My favourite was when they didn't deem frangipanes to be cakes so I know regard them as fruit and include them within my 5 a day!0 -

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands
