Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit and intelligence is not using them in a fruit salad!

Not much help, but I like the saying!!!

And if we are being picky, all the following should be included in the "fresh fruit" offer: cucumbers, pumpkins, eggplants, courgettes and all peppers...

And rhubarb should NOT be included as it isn't a fruit :)

And please don't get me started on peanuts lol
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

I think that last time this came up, someone who worked at Tesco informed us that they have three categories fruit, vegetables and salad.

They probably do, doesn't mean they are classifying the products correctly though, but TBQH most people see tomatoes as a salad item, even though there isn't, in botanical terms, such a thing as salad...

  • Be honest, really, really honest. Would you put a tomato in your fruit bowl with the apples, pears etc?. My kids would think I have gone even madder :)
We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.
  • only limitation on voucher says 'loose or perpacked', min spend £1.. pack of toms was about £1.20..

cost to tesco? fraction of a penny.
