hi all, can any one tell me if i can claim back my ppi from London scottish if so how, many thanks0
-
Letter from Deloitte this morning(dated 6 sep) confirming that they have recieved application form from fscs for claim agsinst wilmslow/freedom (and now known as "the firm") and the initial reviews have now been completed and will begin processing claim shortly.
Im guessing then that this means my claim hasnt been rejected and now just waiting for paperwork etc to be done and ppi refunded.0 -
hey. i received the same letter from deloittes (fscs) this morning regarding my claim from Picture Financial. good luck, i hope we both get upheld soon0
-
Fingers crossed jo-urney. Looking back in this thread someone with a picture claim got the same letter and two weeks later got the cheque. Not saying that WILL happen but its looking good if its anything similar!0

Rang FSCS today and got a call back from deloittes to update me.
Said they are just waiting for some data to come through about interest rate from paragon (even though ppi from wilmslow/freedom) so there is no conflicting evidence. Whatever that means.
The guy dealing with it says it could take a month to get the info from them but hopefully sooner so it can be all dealt with.
What do we reckon? Positive result as ive not been knocked back at this stage? Or still 50/50?
Yes defo positive, because they are working out the sums in what to pay you now.:T:T which is why they needed to know the interest rate. xThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi there
this company I am aware are listed with the FSCS because they are in default, so you need to contact the FSCS on the details below, who will arrange to send you a claim form.

Good luck x;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi Di, thanks, what are the chances of getting anything back, i have no paper work or acc numbers, will i just be wasting my time??? many thanks jody0
-
Jody all i can suggest is if you ring london scottish or FSCS and give them your house details from when you took the loan or find an old bank statement that may have the account number of loan on it. They should have all copies of your paperwork and loan agreement so that shouldnt be a worry. When i filled out my application form from FSCS they asked for proof that my other half and i were now married since the loan so sent wedding certificate in. I suppose if all comes to all send in a copy of your passport or driving licence to prove it is you who had the loan.
But there will be ways and means.
Never think anything like this is a waste of time though. There are times i felt like giving up over last few years but i got a lot of support on here from people like dynamite Di.
Remember its YOUR money they have so fight for it and best of luck!0 -
Hiya jodysenna, just like Luckyc says.;)
Now even if the business are in default, with mine I got the paperwork from the lender instead, the broker who sold the account forwards the data to the lender.:)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
