 QUOTE=Lian1969;26244045]Hi all
 Just for information.
 I called picture today regarding cancelling my ins with them! I asked about the rebate that the FSCS had said that we are entitled to £741.
 Picture encouraged me to cancel policy ( wonder why):mad:
 They said that the £741 would be paid back to the loan:mad: But we are due a NCB next August they told me that the FSCS would want this back:mad:
 God picture are real comedians you know! I called the FSCS and they said that it was rubbish, we are allowed to keep the NCB which works out at £5000.
 Also picture tried me to pay all of our compensation back.:mad:
 At the end of the day we have to do what is right for me and my family! i wont be forced into doing anything.
 WHEN YOU ALL GET YOUR CHEQUES AND ARE DUE A NCB YOU ARE STILL ENTITLED TO IT:j
 Just thought i would let you all know!

            Hi there aaron.;)
 When was the last time you spoken to either deloittes or the FSCS?
 I jumped hoops today, with not receiving any emails back from deloittes, so got hubby to ring the FSCS who confirmed they received everything this morning.
 I have a feeling a good big batch were sent over today and surely yours must be dealt with by now as well.
 Sometimes the FSCS work overtime on the weekend, not sure if they will answer the phones though, but other than that you can try be emailing them.
 Good luck.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di" 0 0

            pinknico, this was the other one.We have been chasing every 2 weeks on a Wed - Ours was still with Deloittes on 7/10 and must have gone back to FSCS sometime during last week for the cheque to have been issued 20/10. The really annoying thing is that the cheque had already been sent 20/10 and when we chased on 21st we were told it was still being processed.
 I rang Picture this morning and they told me that there is no penalty for making lump sum payments against the loan and they would also credit the insurance cancellation premium direct to the loan balance. They were very keen to get me to cancel the policy and said that any future no claim bonus payments would have to go back to FSCS! I checked with FSCS and no they dont.dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0

            If we hadn't had rung the FSCS, I really don't think deloitte would have said anything to be honest, they did actually say on Monday just gone that they will let us know of any movement, but they did not, so I am glad we rang the FSCS now, and finish the week on more of a positive note.:j:j.
 Bet we are all in the same batch, as they had more funds in the kitty :T:T:T:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di" 0 0
