It will be horrid for anyone nearing their NCB who because of delays from picture in default and delays in the FSCS settling, claims it back (their NCB that it) and then only a short time later gets their compensation and gets it deducted:eek:. For people that have claimed their NCB whilst waiting for Picture to be declared in default it is very unfair and makes you wonder:rolleyes:. I think they should have a one for all here.

    Hi marshallka,
Can't understand how the are working it here. They are saying if they don't deduct it you will be getting double, but this is exactly what those who haven't been paid it will be getting.(although I am happy for those who have not rcd it yet) but the FSA rule should obviously be looked at.
I do also notice that they don't give the option of a cancellation rebate when a NCB has been paid:confused:if no ncb to deduct they deduct rebate cancellation amount:confused:It's as though they deduct one or the other:confused:
Would it be worth barloo sending a copy to the FSA also, advising what has happened or would you await the outcome of this letter?

In view of the response regarding the NCB, I am actually surprised that the FSCS aren't requesting this money back from those who receive the bonus after their compensation payout.

I hope there is some positive news for everyone still waiting today xx

    Hi chickpee,
Yes, going by what they say, you would think that. But obviously they can't as once the cheque is issued and cashed you have accepted it as full and final settlement, so they would not be able to take it back, wouldn't think
It's just so unfair the way they have done this:mad:
