Wow, never heard of anyone winning for over 20 years ago:eek:. This is a first on here. Was it through FOS or just a letter to them from yourself and they upheld from there.

Well done on that one and it also needs posting on the success thread. I am sure it will help others.;)

    Hi Marshallka
I must admit I have bever heard of anyone winning as far back as this either but the account CC is still live so technically there is no reason why they shouldn't still pay.
I think a lot of people just assume that the rules are the same as bank charges ie 6 years but before I put my claim in I spent weeks looking all over the internet & couldn't find any law, directives etc to say there was a limit so I just went for it.
I just sent one letter & they replied asking for a bit more info so I replied to this & my complaint was upheld.
I think it helps that this was with my own bank.
I posted on the succes board when I heard but will post again (when I sober up:beer::beer::beer:) when the big fat dirty full off lovely interest cheque comes in:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Your welcome.;)
Still waiting, they did say yesterday on the phone they were working on it for as soon as possible, yet the FSCS did say at first they were still waiting for Deloittes to send it back over, we corrected the FSCS and told them we were informed that it was either the 15 or 16th Oct Deloittes sent our case back to the FSCS, and also the FSCS did also confirm this by email on the 19th lol.

So a slip up there by the FSCS on the phone yesterday.

Thanks again, and can't wait to see your name up as well hun.
    Fingers crossed for you.;)

Al, not sure if I have got this right, but why have FSCS deducted the NCB from your cheque. I thought it was only the Insurance rebate they deducted. Honey's NCB wasn't deducted from her amount, just the Ins rebate, if she were to cancel:confused:FSCS were aware that honey had received her NCB. and they told her it did not have to be paid back to picture, so I don't understand why they have deducted yours. Have I missed something:confused: I thought if the Insurance was still active, then you would still be entiltled to the NCB!!
Is it still active or have you cancelled it.

Oooops I didn't know!!! But I suppose its too late to do anything as I have already banked the cheque (silly me!)

I also called picture today re: cancelling the PPI and they told me that we wern't entitled to any rebate or reduction in monthly payments so I said well theres no point in cancelling then and he agreed!!!!!!!! Anyone else experienced this???? maybe this is because we have less than 2 years left on the policy?!?!?!?!

    xxxxxxxxxx :o
Feeling like we were sucked in by the hard sell & lack of info / advice!

So glad to hear you are getting your cheques - fab news I am delighted for you all.

I have not been on the forum recently as my mum passed away so the joy of my cheque was overtaken with funeral arrangements ect - just trying to get back to some normality now.
