            Hi all
 Just for information.
I called picture today regarding cancelling my ins with them! I asked about the rebate that the FSCS had said that we are entitled to £741.
Picture encouraged me to cancel policy ( wonder why)
They said that the £741 would be paid back to the loan:mad: But we are due a NCB next August they told me that the FSCS would want this back:mad:
God picture are real comedians you know! I called the FSCS and they said that it was rubbish, we are allowed to keep the NCB which works out at £5000.
Also picture tried me to pay all of our compensation back.
At the end of the day we have to do what is right for me and my family! i wont be forced into doing anything.
WHEN YOU ALL GET YOUR CHEQUES AND ARE DUE A NCB YOU ARE STILL ENTITLED TO IT:j
Just thought i would let you all know!

I have not got the drift on the NCB thing, is that where if you've not made a claim in the first 5 years of taking this out thingie?
Saying that the cover was that for only 5 years anyway.
Sorry I am slow on this actual issue folks........:o
We never made a claim on ours either as we taken out a loan advance to pay that one off with Twopart, does this mean anything then? The one and only "Dizzy Di" 0 0

Mine works out that if in the first three years of having the loan you havent made a claim you get back 25% of the policy, then the next year 15% of the policy and finaly the next year 10% of the policy. Making 50% of the original policy (but no where near covering the interest charged!)
If you paid off the loan before the first NCB date you wouldnt be entitled to anything.DS1 12/10/04

LIAN. THIS WAS OLD-WULF'S POST TODAY. WHAT ARE PICTURE UP TOO:mad::mad::mad:

I rang Picture this morning and they told me that there is no penalty for making lump sum payments against the loan and they would also credit the insurance cancellation premium direct to the loan balance. They were very keen to get me to cancel the policy and said that any future no claim bonus payments would have to go back to FSCS! I checked with FSCS and no they dont.
The NCB is sent direct to you, and I don't see how Picture can say you have to pay it back to them:mad: if you don't wish to. Honey2 wasn't told this and she has had her NCB. I wonder why they were so keen for you to cancel, is that because having the Insurance could be more beneficial to you rather than them. From experience we all know Picture do nothing for the benefit of us. Check it out carefully before you decide:beer:
FSCS never said anything to Honey about having to pay it back, and if the policy is still valid, why would you have to.
WE ALL KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE PICTURE/TARGET DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT:mad::mad::mad:
Thank Busbyh for this, they are HELL picture are they just want as much money as possible back0

 Arh I see.
I will check the policy document when I get back, its its about so much back in percentage within so much time, but think that's if settled early, will check it later, cheers hun.;):beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di" 0 0
