I almost feel guilty telling you all this but,

I GOT MY CHEQUE TODAY JUST OVER £11,000

JUST NEED THE REST OF YOU NOW. COME ON!

Just to say our case was simple, and we only puy down on the claim form about:

5 year policy paying over 25!
we were offered no choice in taking out PPI, so that was all we put on our claim form for a miss sell.

Just want Di and the rest of you to get your now.

What do i do now about cancelling our policy, we have had it for 2 years now and are due next year our NCB?

Aww thanks hun :A, I still hope you all get yours soon,you have all been waiting long enough.

Hubby is normally a Steel worker.
The company closed down without notice a while back, it knocked him for 6 it was actually a few days before xmas, where about 400 of them were sent home without notice, then of course no pay, redundancy or anything, it all had to be reclaimed through the insolvency service, and was paid out (not all of it though) in dribs and drabs.

However, the company are reopening, as they had a new buyer and he is to return, its taking a long time due to the plant was falling apart as well, so its just a matter of waiting for a date to start back again, fingers crossed.:beer: Cheers X

Depends on how much rebate you get. If the NCB is worth more I would keep PPI. It won't make much difference to your repayments if you do cancel. Work it all out before you do:T:T:T

May I ask though if you don't mind, how long this taken to get sorted out, like when the FSCS received this back from Deloittes, this may give some sort of idea, as ours was passed back to the FSCS last Thursday or Friday I believe?:beer::A Cheers XXX

i hope you get yours soon. My impression is, our went back to the fscs last wednesday! So it only takes a few days when it goes back to them, but ours was straight forward. Xx

God Di you have helped me so many times in the past, i dont mind telling you anything.
Last Wednesday went back so only a few day like dialysis.

That is great then Lian, so maybe we will hear something soon then, not received any phone calls though, but the questionnaire asked the quesion on "who would you like this paid to"?
Deloitte confirmed at the end of last week that FSCS now has our case and should be reviewing it, and up to now, we have been told by the FSCS that they will be sending out a decision soon.

Fingers crossed to us all then.:beer:
