Busbyh can you confirm if businesses are having their mail picked up today or tomorrow or neither!

No guarantees on this and we do have very important mail to send. , even Special deliveries. Everything is depending on RM managers getting around. We have had to advise anyone expecting mail in bulk of the delays.

We have a lot of mail ready to be collected, but it is going to be pot luck i'm afraid as to whether it is collected. We do use City link for some, but as for individual letters it has to be RM.

As far as Deloitte go any mail that needs to go from them to FSCS will go through the Internal Despatch Service, so I don't think that will be a problem. It's getting it to us that will be.

Not too sure about tomorrow, will find out though

Above is the number of a senior case handler at Deloitte, have you spoken to a claims handler or just used the original number on the letter?

Thanks for the number! Sadly that is the lady I have been calling...

It's not that I want to sound ungrateful for the effort that is being put in on our behalf but after all this time to be told 'I can't tell you anything' is kinda crazy...

Thank you for the help though! This forum had been a great source of strength (and a great place to let off some steam!!)

Hubby rang fscs, and nothing different to what we were told the other day really, just that they will send the decision as soon as possible.

Hubby said he was okay though and friendly enough.;)
I asked him if mananged to get his name, he said he's sure he did say it but he did not take it in lol.

The Gods are smiling on me today! The 1st day of the post strike and our cheque arrives!!!!!!!!!

£13,500 quid ready to be paid in this afternoon. Bloody fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Thanks to all on this forum for the support and advice over the past couple of years and I hope that this is just the latest in a line of cheques hitting carpets this morning for all those that are still waiting.

Off to the travel agents this weekend to book a christmas trip to Euro Disney for the fisrt family holiday in 5 years.....My daughter was giddy with excitement lats night when I told her and it made all the heartache and stress worth while.

Gumbi, How much was your PPI and how many payments had you made, if you don't mind me asking
