The letter will only come with a cheque if my claim was successful:eek:

I feel your pain guys.....I made myself feel better by telling myself it only takes a second to say no to something as it doesn't require authorisation, rubber stamping and all that.

The only reason it's taking so long is because they need to pay out money and that needs to have a load of signatures to approve.

No sign of the post yet at my end but will give it a couple of days due to the RUBBISH post!

I'll do that as well Pinknico - I am convinced our cases are sitting in the same pile! No I haven't rung them Dialysis but whenever I do I get the same standard answer.

What I am wondering is that if Deloitte are doing all the calculations then they are going to be out of date by the time the FSCS get around to looking at them and then probably we'll have yet another wait until files are signed off etc by the manager.

I'm feeling quite p***d off now with this whole saga to be honest.
Hi chickpee maybe if you ring you will get someone else. I found that it depended on who I got at the fscs to how much info I got from them. I hope they sort this for you soon hun it has gone on to long and I am angry for you. Thinking of you:smileyhea

I am sort of thinking that I would have heard by now if it was negative, but then I had covinced myself that there was only one cheque run a week, but maybe not if they are trying to get through a backlog:confused:

Have you spent all your money Gumbi?!

    From Martins Guide:
"Royal Mail insists items sent via its special delivery service, which costs from £4.95 depending on weight, will make it on time. "

Can someone let the FSCS know this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Normal practice, just hope the timescale Deloitte give you matches the one the FSCS has in mind!
    Good luck.x

I think the problem would be that they would have to go off site and do this at a post office with all the claimants details, not just go to their franking office and print off envelopes.
