Received an email response from FSCS here.

Thank you for your E mails of 16 October 2009 and 18 October 2009 about your claim for compensation.

We will write out with our decision on your claim as soon as we can.

Hi does anybody have the telephone number for the insurance company that picture used I cant find it as dont have my paperwork and have to ring them to get the other money back. thanks I think it might be London and general

No news here, but both lots of cheques so far have been on a Thursday, so will be calling on Friday if nothing by then.
