Di, if they will not answer phone(don't think they will be allowed to take calls on overtime) they may respond to an email;) as this way they are not getting involved in a long drawn out discussion. as they would with a phone call
Yes that could be it then hun.;) Cheers, I expect we will receive an email response back by tomorrow now, depending lon how many emailed before me I expect . .
Chickpee, if you don't mind me asking, how long ago did you email the FSCS to receive this email response from them? Thanks The one and only "Dizzy Di" The one and only "Dizzy Di" 0 0

I know if I ever worked weekend overtime, we could not take calls, but I would respond to an email. Phones are quite often put on silent at weekends, in Gov depts.
They must be inundated if they are working SAT/SUN
Yes I agree hun, and if they have so many to deal with, they are trying to keep up I expect, I emailed again anyway just in case......:o, and thinking afterwards........this will probably hold them up as well, along with so many others.:eek:The one and only "Dizzy Di" 0 0

An email won't hold them up as much as a phone call:Ddialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0

I could not cope with the pressure and could not work amongst these organisations, I imagine its a lot of pressure involved.
My son in regards of the DWP, he said when working overtime, he was not allowed to answer the phone on weekends.
So the same for all I expect.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di" 0 0

Yes it is, and it is amazing how much you can get through on overtime, less distractions generally.dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0

No Di, I didn't ask this to be a priority but as mine is a fairly old case I am hoping I will hear fairly soon anyway.
To be honest Busbyh, it hasn't really put my mind at rest (although I think the email was supposed to be reassuring) because until I know for sure I have a valid claim it is all so very unsettling. Sometimes I feel that as my claim was upheld with the FOS then all will be ok but who knows whether the FSCS will have a similar view. I guess because we don't know what criteria the FSCS use then there is no way of knowing until we get a cheque or not.
I sent my email on the 14th in the evening Di and no of couse I don't mind you asking. Everyone here has been so supportive and I'm sure it is because of this forum that I haven't been sent to the mad house yet!
Let's hope we all get some positive news next week.0

 Hi Chickpee.
 Thanks for that.;)
Well lets hope you hear very soon then hun and with them working through them as quickly as possible, hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.
I think and hope they do consider this the same way as the FOS, afterall you have been out of pocket here and you should be compensated your money back for this reason.
I'm sure all will be okay though.;)
Yes its a great forum and a big help as well to us all.:T
Fingers crossed for you hunni XxxThe one and only "Dizzy Di" 0 0

I know what you mean chickpee, We al just need a definate answer, have we won or not.
I would think though in your case if the FOS has upheld your claim, you will be ok.
I'm sure on one of the emails posted here, FSCS said they worked closely with the FOs, I therefore honestly cannot see FSCS rejecting it.
Hopefully we all get something positive next week.
 EDIT
Oh and you are so right chickpee, where would we all be without this site; so much in the dark!!!!dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0
