I could not get all the info from TWOPART when we requested for the SAR from them, because by the time we asked, they had liquidated, so I could only provide them details from the lender SAR wise (which only had so many details/paperwork from Twopart), and only had the tel recordings of the loan advance and not the loan with TWOPART, how are they going to check this one out with lack if info from Twopart I wonder?
And if I could not get the info when requesting a SAR from them, how do the FSCS/Deloittes manage?
The main of the SAR from the lender Nemo was loan advance info and hardly anything in regards of Twopart the broker on the first loan. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Even if they had liquidated, you would think they could get some info from somewhere. Surely this is all on disc or microfiche. The information should be there somewhere, it has to by law, be kept for 6years for Audit purposesdialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
Somehow I don't think the FSCS in regards of TWOPART have many to deal with, when hubby first rang them last year, the guy said we were the first to put in a claim lol, have heard of some more since but not as many or not talked about often like Picture.
I remember when I first went onto the site regarding Picture and I felt I was the only one claiming. I did find another name, can't remember who it was now.Might have been beaniebabe.
It seems a long time before more posted re Picture. I was feeling quite pessimistic about it. Thought we were on our own being taken in by Picture.
Hopefully you will start seeing more posts for TWOPART , I'm sure you are not the only one claiming from themdialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

Hi hun
Thanks for this.;)
Yes I agree.
See when the FOS sorted out the loan advance they then said to go back to the broker in regards of the first one, so my first approach was that to request a SAR, then within days we received a letter with our payment back to to apologise directly from Twoparts Liquidators (Begbies & Traynor) to confirm that they could not send anything as they had nothing and returned our £10 cheque payment, I then made contact with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) who then also said there was little we could do.
So it would be interesting if Deloittes do have this info.;)
I hope so, especially the recordings, as the ppi was just added, it was mentioned but mentioned that it was that part of the loan, not asked anything though.
And again it only protected hubby, and was for over 25 years.
So even though the lender Nemo supplied so much info when we required from Twopart, there are no recordings or transcripts from that sale. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
At last - I have been trying to explain this exact point - the compensation is for bad advise not for mis-selling the PPI - the letter I got on friday from FSCS wasquite clear in the 1st paragraph that this is why I was being compensated.
Someone has posted about making claims that was the 3rd section of calculation - Less any payments made to you from making a claim - if I had claimed for 3 months sickness and the Insurance paid out £900 then this would have been deducted from my compensation figure - however the cash back was for ensuring that payments were made in full and in time and no claims had been made on the PPI - if this was the case then the bonus payment was paid - also if there were any payment made but were late or any arrears then the bonus payment would not be eligible. This is in the hand book that accompanied the loan papers. Also it states that if the loan is in arrears the insurance company have the right to xc the PPI.

thinking about it, if the loan is in arrears why should it stop you from claiming on the Insurance. At the end of the day the Insurance Policy has been paid up in full, so why should it affect the claimor am I just looking for loopholes!!!!!

You would have thought the ICO could have advised better than this. Have you asked Deloitte if they have this information. Surely if the information cannot be provided it should go in your favour for reasons of incompetence i.e not keeping records up to date or not keeping them at all!!!!!dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
I am thinking now, maybe that is why they are sending the PPI supplementary forms, for the ones with lack of info...perhaps??
They may not be for everyone, but if there is lack of evidence supplied from the actual business that bust, it could be the case, Pinknico also said something along these lines yesterday. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I am going to contact Deloittes tomorrow on this one.
They only do have the calculations, and details of the lenders and our claim form, also a copy of the FOS letters/findings, suggesting that we were not given enough advice on the PPI, going by the recordings from the 2nd loan, and believe we did not understand the policy, where we should pursue through the broker on the first one (TWOPART) as it was possibly the case for that as well, in other words the ombudsman said we lacked knowledge of the policy going by the recordings, where he said it is obvious its going to be the same for the first loan. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Just remembered something, when we received the letter back from the liquidators, it was then we rang the ICO, they said to contact the liquidators again, hubby done this and they said they held nothing, we then got back to the ICO, then it was then they said "there was little more we can do", so it was twice we contacted them.
So frustrating, really need the recordings to help with ours I think.
I must admit though, both me and hubby were "very slack" with insurance stuff, shame we did not learn about these mis selling issues at the time and not later.
The brokers and lenders probably loved us, as we never questioned on this, especially the twopart one.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Sorry for all my posts........:o.
This was an email we went to Twopart/Eloan before it was confirmed they went into liquidation. We did not get a response, so that is when we wrote to them by hardcopy as well, then received that confirmation from the liquidators of them not being able to supply anything.
Good afternoon
Wonder if you could give me some information please.
We had a loan from Twopart/e-loan in Nov 2005 which was arranged by yourself and arranged the loan with Nemo Personal Finance.
We orginally received an SAR (Subject Assess request) from Nemo which I requested and paid for this, and they do not actually disclose the information from the start of the loan and stated this on their letter, they added they do not supply all data from the third parties etc.
Please can you advise me if Twopart/e-loan would supply this information form when this was sold from the start and let me know for as soon as possible.
Thank you I look forward to your email response.
Kindest RegardsThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0
