the problem i mainly have is we remortgaged the house and paid off picture, then we split up and had to hand the property back to the mortgage company which left us owing some which is something trying to pay off so this money will come in handy for that. We shall have to see what happens, it has been a long tiring process for us all and i regret the day i heard of picture finance!! as do we all.

Thanks guys,just cant get my hopes up for monday if only priority cases are being dealt with, I would be gutted.
If gumbi and dialysis are getting letters after a couple of days at the FSCS and mine has been there for almost 2 weeks I can only see that being the case.

Pinknico... Why don't you just make yours a priorty by getting your MP on the case?

I wouldn't worry too much though I would imagine that they do batch sends and if they've had your info for 2 weeks it will probably be in the next batch.

Hello gumbi, I should think by the time my MP has a word it will be sorted anyway . I dont mind the waiting, its the raised hopes thats a killer!!

Last time I spoke to them they didnt want to give a timescale.
Have emailed now to see whether I can I expect to hear soon.x

You can only have your hopes raised and then dashed so many times before you lose it.......This could almost be considered a form of torture:eek:
