Spout away my dear.........and feel justified in doing so. Just remember that choosing when to have a battle is the key to winning it;)

At the moment we all have frayed nerves and will probably be on first name terms with the postman by the end of next week. Let's not let them off......once it's all sorted look back at this forum and remember just how bad it got.

I think I speak for all of us when I say that I would love nothing more this weekend than take a trip to Cardiff, knock on the door of Picture or Target or whatever the hell they are calling themselves nowadays and take a long steaming P**s on what remains of their technical infrastructure and then dance a jigg around the burning remains until I passed from exhuastion.... very satisfying in the short term, but unlikely to get me my money any faster:rotfl:

Go on close your eyes and imagine it...........you'll feel great:cool:
Cheers Gumbi tee hee brilliant:j:j:jI am thinking about it already and it does feel good. Thank you youve made me feel tons better.:T:T

    Guys,
I have to admit to feeling a bit sorry for the FSCS.....They have had an 150% increase in workload over the last 12 months and that's bound to affect their ability to communicate...

Had anyone even heard of the FSCS before 12 months ago..?

I'm no fan and I think things could have been handled better but let's remember that the bad guys here are Picture......They knew what they were doing when they fobbed us off to begin with. I'm sure the conversation went something like.

"look it's all going to hit the fan soon so let's just delay these cliams by sending them to the FOS. By the time they're dealt with we'll be out of business and it will be somebody else's problem and we'll all have our nice pay off's and a cushy new job advising on the borad of another company"

We all know we've been p****d on and have every right to shout from the rooftops but let's keep our powder dry until after we've had our money;)

Then I think the gloves can come off so that nobody else has to put up with the rot that we've gone through for the past 2 years......believe me I have a couple of great letters ready and waiting to go to MP's, Watchdogs and media once I've got my cash and haave spent the lot on a holiday to the sun:D

I think if and when the cheque arrives I shall have a little weep, give myself a pat on the back and set about seeking my revenge:p

    Hi gumbi
I agree what you are saying, although it doesn't stop us feeling any the less frustrated and now also worried in case our claim is rejected!

I must say, everytime I have spoken to the FSCS, although they have not given much away (I know their hands are tied somewhat) they have always been well mannered and pleasant.

I think what you are saying is we need to keep calm for just a bit longer:mad:If we can!!

    Thanks

Yay here is my message folks from the FSCS..............

    Good afternoon,
I can confirm that Twopart Limited were declared "in default" on 8 September 2009.
As you may be aware, we expect in most cases to complete all claims within 6 months from the date a firm is declared "in default"
    Hope this helps

Twopart not listed on the FSCS yet, but if they went into default earlier in the month, perhaps its sometime after they add this.

How long after was Picture listed on the FSCS site folks when they did go into detault?

I may be being dense but you would think the FSCS would decide if you have a claim before they send to Deloittes to calculate the claim - why would they waste man hours contacting Picture and other lenders and then calculting what you are due for the FSCS to say no??????

It took at least two weeks, possibly longer. They said it can take some time to update the site

That thought did cross my mind. I will post on the other site and ask honey2 if her friend's case was sent to deloitte

You are not being dense, it make good sense to me:beer:
