What a pointless thread about a 1 day out of date Brownie?!
It won't kill you, in fact if it was dated up with a in date brownie I bet you couldn't tell the difference. The Brownies are frozen and got out the day before so I hardly think it was a week old
Oh and I bet you can't tell if you eat a 1 day out of date bun once it's been toasted
and a pointless post ?
most of the people slaggin me off on here havent even read the thread let alone looked at the picture which has the dates on it, im sick of people trying to bait arguments on here.ranger1066 wrote: »then you state it is a week out of date, but you have just stated it was just over a day.
So it was just over a day old and not a week old!
it was a week old by the time i got it, look at the picture. why even try and pick my post apart, as others has said its only over a pound, the only reason ive complained to mcd's is because they are selling food past their own discard dates, im sure its edible and i would been fine if i ate it but it still doesnt mean its right. The time and effort you have taken over a chocolate brownie costing £1 that was a whole day out of date amazes me. I am sure there are starving people in a warn torn Africa country with a collecting tin hoping to raise the £1 to do their little bit to help your desperate situation.
what the hell has that got to do with anything ?
trying to blame me for africas debt now, nice one.0 -

i know its only a pound but it was out of date even if it was still safe to eat, im not even that bothered about the money back, what pi$$es me off more is the way they have swapped around the drive through system, they dont give straws/napkins/dips at the first window anymore, you're lucky if you get them at the third window.
anyway il see what they come up with, might get a letter/email in the next week. i doubt it though as customer service seems shoddy.
So you are using the rank, pus-filled, maggot-ridden brownie as an excuse to get back at McDonald's because you don't like how they have re-arranged their drive-through system?0 -

Samba, don't get upset by the people baiting an argument, some folk would argue that the sky above them is polka dot green for the sake of it!
It was pretty rank to fob you off with a out of date Brownie although- my local Sainsburys sell a box of 5 for 15p when they are one day past the best before date and people in my office eat them without complaining they taste odd.Official SOS Club number 011 - Dry until 17/11/20090 -
I went to Maccyd's recently and waited about 20 mins for my food
bf got annoyed and complained
manager said she was extremely sorry and gave us:
large fries, medium fries, 2 apple pies, coca cola glass and a chocolate muffin for our troubles
I think kicking up a fuss works sometimes.0
